Kittyhawk- 5 Bedroom House with Spectacular Views of English Harbour

A group of 10 of us stayed here for Antigua sailing week. It was absolutely perfect! Communication - 10 out of 10 ; location 10 out of 10 ; size cleanliness facilities all brilliant. Views and the over English Harbour - particularly enjoyed being in the pool and watching pelicans dive for fish! 10 mins to either Eng harbour to Falmouth . Sure many of the group will be back! We were a group of 10 and had an amazing stay at Kitty Hawk, Donna and the team couldn’t have done more for us. We had boyfriends doing the Atlantic Row and they were so helpful with the area and got them a lovely card and bottle of bubbly to celebrate. The villa was incredible and we would definitely stay again!

The location of the property was amazing, allowing us to walk to the shops, great bars, restaurants(Trappas, Place on the Corner, Club House, Flatties, Boom) the marina as well as having a kayak adventure with a 9 year old to get a pineapple juice at Nelsons Dockyard - never mind the view! Pigeon beach was a real find on foot too! We did hire a car which meant we could explore the island more, do big shops for 10 of us and have some great day trips to entertain the generations - the inflatables at Darkwood Bay, Trainer shopping in St John’s, hiring a boat, horse riding and jet skiing in the sea etc Anna the property manager was like magic! We had any queries and she would sort it immediately. Izzy has been amazing throughout the whole renting process - especially as we had to move the holiday on a year due to Covid. The cleaners were very patient with us too. The property itself is comfortable but a little tired in places and I’m sure now the pandemic is settling maintenance will be resumed. It gave us a great amount of space. We knew the cottage was separate (great for 2 nearly 17 year old boys!) however the downstairs bedroom is also very separate (lockable) not accessed from within the main house and it took some getting used too for the parents and the 13 year old girls. The shape of the pool allowed the mums to sit on the step for “book club” whilst the children played at the other side of the “L”. With 6 children in and out of the pool and sea we did get through a lot of towels but there are plenty of those in the utility room and the biggest washing machine we have ever seen! The electricity allowance was fine as well - especially as the much needed AC was on in all 5 bedrooms every night and with 4 teenagers and their devices! The BBQ was used regularly but as a group of 6 we tended to eat at the front around the big table - unfortunately there was was a resident bird nesting in the eaves by the table so the patio needed regular cleaning! The island, the people, the sea, the sun, the villa and it’s location all made for a super holiday - one the families will never forget. Thank you

Kittyhawk is a fantastic villa, exceptionally well equipped, extremely spacious and homely. The location is perfect for walking to the local shops, restaurants and a beautiful beach. The owners couldn’t be more accommodating and the lady who manages the villa out there is extremely efficient. Would fully recommend without hesitation. All 9 of us had a wonderful time. Thank you.

We were very impressed with the location and property. The pool was excellent. All bedrooms had their own bath. All appliances were clean and in good working order. The only negative would be the overage charge for electricity - 100 kWh per day for 9 adults is pretty restrictive, but we managed with very little overage.

The Kittyhawk House is the perfect group vacation pick for Antigua. There were 9 of us at the house and it didn’t feel at all crowded. The location, private pool and management staff were outstanding! The house is fully stocked with everything we needed for our large group. Everyone wants to come back. We highly recommend the Kittyhawk House.

Our family enjoyed every minute at Kittyhawk.It has everything you would want on vacation location and comfort. The owners were extremely helpful with hints on eating out and activities.We enjoyed the pool,beaches and kite surfing at Green Island.We would certainly LOVE to return.It has been a memorable vacation
