Stayed Jul 19, 2025Family of 9 plenty of space with access to the beach and canal. Well stocked kitchen with all the necessary appliances! (Some of the teflon cookware has seen better days ) but the toaster / toaster oven , griddle for pancakes and coffee machine were all clean and in good working condition! The front load Washer and dryer were nice! Cons a sectional couch or additional chairs/seating in the living room would be nice. Downstairs the couch recliners not working was a disappointment, and the bed definitely needs an upgrade (be ready to go to your chiropractor) if anyone other than a child sleeps on that mattress. All in all nice property! Enjoyed our stay! On The dock a ladder for accessing the canal would be nice also , and a foot washing station in the outdoor shower.

Stayed Jun 22, 2024Myself and my adult children stayed at King's Retreat. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and serving pieces. The location was an easy walk to the beach. The kids went kayaking on the canals and the Intercostal. We enjoyed grilling and hanging out on the back deck, screened in porch and fishing from the dock. Definitely a house we would come back to.

Stayed Jun 8, 2024Great stay at this property on Holden beach. Canal with great dock for fishing. private outside shower. Plenty space for parking and hanging out underneath house. Close to beach access by pier and Raleigh St. Family of 10 from 8-65 years were comfortable throughout the house. Will look to book again in the future.

Stayed Jul 8, 2023We had a great time! The house fit us perfectly! We loved fishing of the back dock! The kids had fun catching crabs and using a cast net off the dock! Super easy walk to the beach!

Stayed Jun 17, 2023Our family of 8 were not crowded, room in the lower area was great, no mildew smell, it was clean and neat. The walk to beach access was a little walk but over all we would stay there again.
