We loved the pool and the fact that you step out the front door and there is the Cabana pool and playground. we were informed the coffee pot was broken when we arrived and within a short time someone arrived with a new machine. The new machine was great, having both Keurig and ground coffee capabilities. Already discussing renting next year.

So close to shop and restaurants and walk to the beach isn’t bad either. Would definitely stay again. The kitchen window looks directly onto play ground which didn’t bother us but one thing we did not expect.

The home is lovely and comfortable. Plenty of room to move about. The location was perfect. Three minute walk to town to all of the restaurants and shops and five minute walk to the beach. The management team was the best we’ve ever dealt with. They were on top of things and answered texts promptly and were very kind.

Reviewer Comments: This home was beautiful with a ton of space, great bedrooms and the private pool was clean and great for our toddler.Location to the shops and beach were great. The main thing that could have been improved was kitchen was not well stocked. For how much you pay for this house there should be an ample kitchen and more than one roll of paper towels ....Also downside is the kitchen looks over the playground and main pool so not much privacy as a warning.

Reviewer Comments: It’s a great house that needs some maintenance work: dryer doesn’t work, oven smells like something is burning every time we used it, dishwasher tilts down every time you pull the drawers out and it falls forward/down and the freezer door is hard to close.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Each year our kids and grandkids meet up with us for a summer beach trip. We have stayed in Seaside several times but this was our first time to stay in Rosemary Beach. We loved our time there at Kidd Cottage. The home is beautiful and our group of five adults and two toddlers had plenty of room to sleep and play. We spent each morning at the beach and each afternoon after the kids’ naptimes at the pool. The beach was an easy walk with the kids in our wagon, and then the cabana pool is literally in the front yard. We didn’t use the private pool much because it was still pretty chilly but the Canana pool was never crowded and was warmer since it gets more sunlight than the private pool. We visited the playground next to the pool and also drove over to the Alys playground. We walked to Seacrest and picked up food and listened to music one evening. The Hidden Lantern bookstore has a story time a couple of mornings during the week so we attended story time. The management company was communicative. I texted to let them know one of the amenity passes was broken off the lanyard just as an fyi so they would be aware. They sent someone over to pick up the broken pass and bring a new one. One of the previous group had apparently gotten sick and thrown up in the living room so housekeeping had to clean the sofa cover and the area rug. Those things were still pretty damp when we got in at 4pm and we couldn’t comfortably sit on that sofa until the next day. No fault of housekeeping or management obviously! While gathering everything before we left, I moved both sofas to make sure none of our things had gotten pushed under there and it needed a vacuuming under there. Maybe that is usually done and got forgotten since they were having to do extra cleaning of the other sofa and the rug. We hope to return next year to Rosemary Beach and I’ll be checking to see if Kidd Cottage is available!
