Kidd Carriage House – Stylish Beachside Retreat Near Pool & Gulf Access

The accommodations were at first sight lovely except for a raised step platform we had to climb up and down (3 steps each way) to use the bathroom and bedroom. ??? We are an older couple and would have appreciated a heads up on this. The fridge and freeze were 1/2 size which was challenging at times.We lost hot water. The management responded wonderfully to this and it was restored by a plumber later in the day.The fridge door did not close/open easily (wooden frame in the way) nor did the doors to the washer and dryer.Areas needed updating… particularly around the bathroom and kitchen faucets/countertops. Evidence of a lot of ware and tear. Veneer coming off the bedroom dresser and drawers were hard to open.No Kleenex, no salt and pepper, no foodstuff amenities like small amount of oil, sugar, pods for the kureig. These are inexpensive offerings.We came from a stay in St Augustine where we had a 1bedroom with amazing attention to detail. Very generous on all counts at half the price. I realize we paid for the Rosemary Beach location and should cost more. It was a beautiful area.

Overall, it’s a gorgeous rental, thoughtfully designed, and I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed for an anniversary weekend with our 2 year old and it was a blast! The bicycles that were included was really nice to have. The area was quiet and it was a plus being within steps from a pool! Definitely will stay again!

This was the perfect place to stay for a beach getaway! It was just perfect for the two of us! We walked everywhere; the beach, downtown for dinner, and some shopping, it was amazing!

We always enjoy our time in Rosemary Beach. This property was very nice and perfect for 2. The location is great as well. The property managers were very helpful and quick to respond to questions while we were there.

There was plenty of beach equipment, although not advertised, the bikes were great, the space very clean, the beds comfortable and the area itself was just a dream. Close to pools, parks, and the beach. The unit had character and was decorated beautifully. Would absolutely stay again. My only feedback would be to add more hooks or racks for towels.

Absolutely amazing location, space, and quality. Our stay from beginning to end was great! We absolutely adored this little house and have already looked into next years dates. Perfect for a couple looking to getaway. We rode the provided bikes every single day, used the chairs for sunset, and fully enjoyed the space.
