Kid Friendly, River house 65 yards to the Frio River

Communication with host was excellent!

We stayed with another family and there was plenty of room for everyone to comfortably sleep! The house has everything we possibly needed for cooking and food prep. The property Was beautiful and a quick walk to the river!

It was a tricky place to find but they gave great directions. It was spacious and pet friendly. We are Harley enthusiasts and the town is very biker friendly. We will stay here again.

Check in was super easy and everything that we could’ve needed was provided to us in the house already.

Exactly as described. Plenty of space for several people. The river has good catch and release for small fish. Best place to swim is to the right and over the gravel road the tree with the rope will mark the best area. Water gets to about 7 feet there, its deceiving due to how clear it is. Garner state park is a short drive (if you've never been its a must!)the merchant store less than a mile away has any forgotten items and then some. The hosts are excellent communicators. We had a small issue and they were above and beyond with responding. Definitely would recommend.

The house and owners were great! They replied to our questions immediately. We had 6 people in our party with the youngest at 15 and the house had plenty of space to not feel crowded. The bonus was a nice swimming hole located right upstream, so there was no worries about being able to sit and swim. Thank you again for the accomodations!

Everything was perfect. The house was in perfect condition when we arrived. They provided all the essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, bedding and anything you made need in the kitchen area. The beds were so comfortable. The property is beautiful. We had a terrific stay. Will be back again.

Nice, quite and everything we needed.

This our third year booking with Rick and Temple we usually stay in house number 1 but this time we stayed in house number 2 and like usual it did not disappoint. It’s had everything you need in the kitchen rooms are big and beds are comfortable. The split layout is awesome. The river has been low for years but it’s kid friendly but just about a two minute walk down river is spot with a rope swing and plenty of water to swim around in. Caine wait for nexts year trip!

We enjoyed the access to the Frio River. And Garner State Park. Along with the bat colony nightly flight in Concan. We connected as a family much to busy in our day to day lives.

It was nice. House was comfortable and clean. House not as private as we had thought. But neighbors were quiet. Wish there was a way to communicate rivers levels before booking. Wasn’t able to enjoy the partial riverfront property, and that was the point of the rental.
