Keys Elegant - Key Colony Single Family. Private Pool, Hot Tub, Dock!

Very nicely appointed house with all the amenities! Beautiful pool with lots of seating areas. It was great having 3 full bathrooms as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved!!! The pool area, view of the canal, neighborhood and house were wonderful! Total feel of Florida without the busy tourist atmosphere.

Property manager was super helpful and the backyard is what makes the home amazing! The pool, the hot tub, the canal, the beautiful outdoor sitting, the twinkle lights and the swing! We loved everything about the backyard! Very friendly neighbors as well!

This house has a great pool, wonderful large shaded outdoor patio space and was just perfect for our group of 6. We had a 25 foot boat and it worked fine to get it doced once we got the hang of it. The canal is wide enough to move around and reposition as needed. Gregg our host was a great communicator and was so helpful when we discovered we left a few things behind.

location was perfect. Pool was clean and hot tub worked well. House was well set up for our group of 3 couples. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The cabana cub was a fun spot and is included in your rental

Excellent stay, would stay here again. good dockage, easy access to the Atlantic side, had all the amenities that were needed. Parking was great and even had a place to park our small boat. Pool was refreshing after being out on the water all day.

This is a wonder place to relax. It is large enough for 3 grandparents, 2 parents and a 6 month old. We had plenty of room, a well equipped kitchen, opportunity to dive, fish and chill. There isn’t much to criticize. Large pebbles are a bit much to roll trash/recycle containers over. That’s kind of petty though. This is the first place in years that I want to return with family - hopefully for a few years.

Our stay this week was great! House had everything we wanted and needed. We enjoyed lounging in the pool, sitting on the back porch playing games and truly relaxing. We have nothing negative to say about our stay.

There are coconut trees in the backyard. There are hundreds of little coconuts and then there are large coconuts. This is definitely a hazard. They are falling all the time, they are falling in the pool. If someone gets hit I see a major liability issue. I am astonished the property manager has not rectified this. I had to sweep up the outside walkways because of the coconuts and seeds. The first night we had to call the property manager because the master bedroom was hot. We had an infant in that room. It registered 80 degrees at 6 am. We had to wait for the property manager to contact the owners in order to lower the temperature. It was hot. The pool was a good idea, coconuts and all. I would stay here again if they clean up the back. Also the other bedroom door handle was reversed and my nephew got locked in the room. He's 40, lol With a management company involved I am very surprised these issues were not previously addressed.

Check-in was seamless, and communication with the property manager was truly top-notch. Greg was incredibly responsive, checking in regularly and even stopping by in person when we had a question about the pool. From a management standpoint, everything was handled with care and professionalism, and I really appreciated that level of service.That said, the house itself fell a bit short of the standard we’ve come to expect from VRBO properties. While it was certainly sufficient for our needs, it lacked the polish or attention to detail that usually sets these rentals apart.For example, when we arrived, there was quite a bit of debris in the pool. Completely understandable given how windy it was that day—but the issue was there wasn’t a pool skimmer available for us to clean it ourselves. We let Greg know, and he confirmed the next day that there was, in fact, no net. A pool maintenance person did come by mid-week and cleaned the pool, but the hot tub was overlooked. I don’t mind pitching in to keep things tidy, but without the basic tools, that wasn’t really possible.On the bright side, we had opted to pay for hot tub heat, and I have to say, it did not disappoint. The hot tub got wonderfully warm, which we really appreciated—it was definitely worth the extra cost.Overall, nothing was wrong with the home per se, but a lot of the details just felt... a bit meh. We enjoyed our trip to the keys; this home met all our needs & more. The Cabana Club was a huge bonus. Gregg, the property manager responded in a timely manner and was extremely helpful. We had a great trip!

So our lobstering adventure was a bust, but thankfully we had this amazing home to relax in and create new family memories. The pool/spa was perfect for the October weather and the location made boating a breeze. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone who is thinking of taking a Florida Keys vacation.
