Key Lime Kottage- Waterfront Home on Gulf of Mexico w/ Private Pool, Dock & More

The house was nice but felt it could have been a little nicer given the price. Found some areas in the house not cleaned super well, the house could use some updating, there is no closet in the master bedroom (only a dresser and stand with a few hangers provided), they provide you with very little towels and wash cloths (three total wash cloths in the entire house and four bath towels and the house is supposed to sleep 6 I believe). Only a couple days into our stay the kitchen counter was filled with ants that caused us to throw food away that we just bought (the host did send pest control the next morning). The listing states there is a bait freezer but there was not. We did enjoy the pool and hot tub every day. Fishing off the dock was not the best for us during our stay but the water there is extremely low. Enjoyed the provided kayaks and paddle board.

Great location. House is very private and met our needs quite well. The pool area is very nice and the communication with the host was excellent.Two areas of suggested improvement: Extra visits/attention from pest service to control the crazy ants in the kitchen, as well within the pool enclosure would be helpful.Second, verify stock of paper products (toilet paper, pair towels). We had to go out and stock our own during the week. These were minor inconveniences, and did not overshadow the great time we had at the property. We highly recommend it and will definitely consider renting it again in the future!

The house was wonderful, as always. Love the pool and dock. Lindsey was a great host, very responsive and helpful. Everything was very clean upon arrival, pool was great, can’t wait to return next year.

Good Location. House is showing its age. Had to get an exterminator out for small mites? Ice maker stopped working.

This is a wonderful property! We loved the location and the house. Everything was clean with wonderful amenities. We loved the whirlpool, dock and privacy that the house offered. We plan to stay again!

House was clean and the pool area was very nice. The water front was a big plus. Beautiful sunsets . A very nice house to relax.

The house was great and the property felt very secluded. The only issue we had was that the hot tub wasn't working correctly. The pool and hot tub were always the same temperature, and half the jets in the hot tub didn't work. But we still had a great time and the pier was nice to drink coffee on and look at the ocean. Would definitely return in the future.

We loved the Key Lime Cottage! We enjoyed the pool and sunset dock! Convenient location with breathtaking views! We Would definitely rent again! We were comfortable, and cozy with great amenities! Comfortable beds freshly made and house was so clean when we arrived. The pool was a center piece for our stay as we had a hot week! Lovely pool area.

Our accomodations were excellent and worked well for our group. The home is beautiful, clean, beds are very comfortable. Everyone slept well, plenty of room for our group of 5 people. Our son's 18 and 24 enjoyed kayaking with their dad from the dock and the sunsets are breathtaking from the end of the pier. The pool was just the something extra that made our stay wonderful being able to cool off and swim after a long day. The SS Wreck has good food or if you wanted to grab a drink at the bar. You are able to walk over. Eat at Porky's if you get the chance the menu offers something for everyone. We had a wonderful stay and the location was central to the things we wanted to do. I will definitely recommend to family and friends and would book again for future vacations if in the area.

Great location! Beach and many restaurants nearby. Easy day trip to key west. Great pool area and docks for watching the sunset. We have stayed here 3 times.

Wonderful accomodations. The home was just as stated in the description. It was clean, the pool area was very nice. If you like peace & quiet, this would be a nice place to stay & enjoy the secluded pool area. We liked that SS Wreck was just a short walk down the road. Good drinks & food. Key Lime Kottage is conveniently located. Not far from groceries, restaurants, marinas, etc. My only suggestion to Lindsey is provide 1 or 2 pair of binoculars, so much wildlife out off the dock, it would be beneficial to view with binocculars.

This property is perfectly located to enjoy everything the Middle Keys has to offer. The house was clean and spacious enough for 2 couples. We appreciated having kayaks, pool toys and some outdoor games. The pool and screen house were a great place to relax. The hot tub was not working properly, but Lindsey was responsive in trying to resolve the issue.

Stayed for a week at Key Lime Kottage. Perfect place for privacy. Close to Marathon and restaurants.Nice home away from home. Pool and hot tub are great. I will go again.
