Awesome location. Although the house was a bit dated, it was clean & very comfortable. I would stay there again.

This property needs updating. Furniture was dirty. Carpets were dirty. Dead bugs in the dirty suspended ceiling.

We had a great time. Home was comfortable. Great location. Only recommendation would be that the kitchen cabinets need replaced. Otherwise, great home!

It was amazing to be in the warmth of the Keys! We had a wonderful time taking it really slow. Lots of yoga in the yard for me and walks with my husband through the neighborhood, or down to the community beach. The kids have been playing music, creating a board game, making art, and laying in the hammock. We have been kayaking, canoeing, and supping around all the canals and in the bay. We've seen several manatees and even a couple of mamas and their calves. They swim right by the dock! On the suggestion of the owner, we went to Theater of the Sea, the Turtle Hospital, and snorkeling at John Pennekamp. We felt totally safe (Covid wise) because each of these things is outside and requires masks. I'm sure that this trip would have looked different at a different time (we would have gone to Key West) but it was an absolutely perfect warm getaway for us right now. Thank you Mark!

Great to be close to Pennecamp, snorkeled, Kayaked and played. Perfect spot on the canal. The most relaxing spot to get away. It is a Jimmy Buffett song! This is like paradise. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in the Keys staying at this property. We had the BEST time! It worked perfectly for us (4 women) even with one bathroom! lol! The property was very clean, had everything we needed, and was in the perfect location for us to take day trips to various destinations in the area - Miami (an hour away), Key West (approx two hours away), Bahia Honda State Park (with THE most perfect beaches!). There was also plenty to do close to home. We dined at several great restaurants within a 20 minute drive, took full advantage of the use of the kayaks, canoe and hammocks, and just enjoyed the beautiful tranquility of the area. The owner checked in with us to be sure everything was ok which was very nice. We are already planning our next trip here and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind.

My family and I stayed here for our first time in the Keys. The house was very comfortable and clean, with everything we needed to make our stay great. We were greeted by manatees on the first day and saw them many times during our stay, along with iguanas and peacocks. The small community beach was a nice place to go swimming/snorkeling (saw a nurse shark one day), and was only a short walk to the end of the block. The use of the canoe/kayaks was great in the canal ways and bay, and we also had fun exploring the area on the bicycles. Fishing was fun in the canal as well as the bay. The location is great with many wonderful restaurants nearby. We enjoyed snorkeling, scuba diving, and visiting the everglades and all of the other Keys, all the way to Key West. We all thought the Key deer in Big Pine Key were something special to see. The owners gave recommendations, answered questions on things to do in the area and helped make our stay unforgettable. I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the Keys.

We really enjoyed our stay here, and the owners were very nice. They were helpful when needed and it was easy to communicate with them. We had never stayed at a house on a canal before. Sitting by the canal was very relaxing where we could fish and still had internet access. The wildlife was amazing, we saw peacocks, iguanas, a lot of different types of fish, jellyfish and manatees(saw 7 at 1 time). It was a peaceful neighborhood, with friendly neighbors. There's a lot to do and a lot of great restaurants in this area.
