Beautiful home that is in close proximity to the lake and downtown Kenosha. A few friends and I stayed here for the weekend for a fishing charter that we scheduled. This was the perfect spot and we loved how clean and organized everything was.

Immaculate! Lovely! Comfortable! Kenosha Gateway Getaway was immaculately clean! I mean - spotless! Everything has been recently updated and was so tastefully decorated. From the couch to the beds to the pillows - everything was extremely comfortable. Top-notch appliances in the kitchen. The pictures don't do it justice!

Exceptional place, better than advertised. Immediate calm upon entering. All of the creature comforts and then some. Kitchen and bathroom thoughtfully stocked. Comfortable beds, sitting room off the primary bedroom provides a lovely retreat. Would definitely recommend!

The home was beautifully updated and clean, just like the photos. We were unaware that the house was split into 2 units and that we were sharing the house and driveway. The owner was quick to communicate with my questions upon arrival. I suggested that he update the listing for more transparency for above, which he did immediately. Our unit was upstairs. I had to ask the people in the downstairs unit to move their vehicle out of the center of the driveway, so we had room to park, because the roads that the house is on is very busy and high traffic. We did not want to park on the street for that reason. We were also surprised to find that the laundry was downstairs in the basement, shared with the other unit and we had to exit the property and re-enter through the back to access it. Normally, not a big deal, but it rained 2 nights that we were there and I had to wash clothes because we were there for a baseball tournament. Walking in the rain at night, multiple times, to do the laundry wasn't my favorite. All that being said, if you understand that this is a shared unit and the facts about parking and laundry you will be fine. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked (even had ice trays in the freezer, TP, fluffy towels, pots/pans, coffee, salt/pepper) and fans in the closets (the only ceiling fan is in the kitchen). I appreciate how quick the owners were to communicate when a few things were unexpected for us and you can tell they care.

We stayed in the upstairs portion of the house, which had plenty of room for the four of us. The house was clean and decorated nicely. There were TV's in every room which is conveinent if you're there to relax or watch at night when the day fun is over. The washer/dryer worked well but was in the basement, which is accessible via an outside door and a flight of stairs. We weren't personally affected by this, but if you have issues going up and down stairs, it may be a problem, although we stayed upstairs and if that's where you're staying, you're going to be dealing with stairs anyway. Dishwasher/refrigerator worked perfectly and the shower was nice with a sprayer handle. We had one tiny issue and the owner fixed it the same day while we were gone. Great interaction and I appreciate his willingness to take care of it immediately. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home has been beautifully remodeled and is divided into three separate units. The work they've done is impressive, and everything feels fresh and thoughtfully designed.We stayed in the upstairs unit, which I didn’t realize until a few days before arrival when the address and details were provided. As someone with a disability, the stairs were a bit of a challenge. It worked out, but I’d strongly recommend the hosts mention this more clearly in the listing to help future guests make an informed decision.Now, on to the most important things:The beds were incredibly comfortable—absolutely 10/10!Linens were soft and cozyPlenty of fans, which I really appreciated for sleepingThe kitchen was well-stocked with all necessary utensilsThe private patio off the master bedroom was a lovely bonusModern, clean, and stylish furniture throughout the homeTVs with streaming services were easy to useThe air conditioning worked greatThe yard was well-kept and invitingThe hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout our stayLaundry is available on-site, though it does involve more stairs and can be a little tricky to access. I’d also suggest the hosts consider offering a small welcome package. After hauling luggage upstairs, it would’ve been nice to have a couple of water bottles or a small snack—especially for guests with kids. Not a major issue, just a thoughtful touch that could go a long way.

Loved the decor and furnishings. Such a smart use of space. Everything was clean and well organized. Hosts were very pleasant with great communication. Would highly recommend!!

What a fantastic place!! It was absolutely perfect! The guys have appointed it beautifully! And it’s close to grocery and restaurants! Easy parking, washer/dryer, quiet neighborhood, and very very comfortable! I’ll stay here every time I’m in Kenosha! Thanks, guys!! 5 hosts!!

From day one, communication was immediately answered and always understanding and helpful. Location was great and the house was beautiful. This unit was exactly what we needed for our family. It was the perfect spot for the 3 of us to unwind after visiting family. We felt at home from the minute we walked in and was exactly as pictured and listed. We really enjoyed our stay and will be booking again when we come back to visit.

We utilized the location as overnights for our retreat leader who was in from out of state. Great corner location and top floor was quiet and refurbished. All the comforts of home.

Very accommodating and very flexible when it comes to their customers requests. We love our stay, will recommend and will stay again in the future.
