Kennacraig Lodge was unreservedly the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The owners provided absolutely everything in their beautiful property to ensure that we had a relaxing fun filled holiday. They provided everything for our 1 yr old granddaughter, our young children and parents and grandfather. Large selection of books, games, snooker table, badminton, volleyball, crab fishing equipment and lots more. Spacious comfortable rooms and beds with tasteful artworks and furniture. We would highly commend the location and quality of this property.

Instantly felt at home in this high quality holiday accommodation. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Very informative guest folder. Had wanted to stay in pet-free accommodation. Would gladly stay here again. Kintyre peninsula is a beautiful area to visit.

Very spacious house with all mod cons. Could watch the ferries going to Islay but they are not very often and could not hear any traffic noise in the house from the A 83. Watched sheep and geese in the field. Need to use apps to watch the television, would suggest a Freesat box and dish so terrestrial channels are easy to access. Good WiFi so we just connected a laptop and watched through our own Sky subscription. Tarbert is 7mins away and we would recommend the Red Herring takeaway! The recommended beaches are lovely.

We had a marvellous time staying at Kennacraig with our two young girls and grandparents. The weather was amazing, sunshine everyday for 6 days. We were very impressed with everything provided in the Lodge and the views and outdoor space were fantastic. We went to a local wedding and wanted to make a holiday out of the trip, it all worked out perfectly. We contacted the manager once and they responded promptly.

Absolute best lodging of our trip. We decided to make our ferry journey to Islay as frictionless as possible and booked the lodge to have an extremely chill time enjoying the Kintyre Peninsula and not have to rush to the ferry in the morning. This lodge has a lot of rooms with comfortable beds and well appointed bathrooms with excellent water pressure and enough space to turn around in. There are games and books to while away the time if you so choose. The kitchen is completely stocked with all manner of pans, pots and appliances to make everything a breeze. Although we had fewer people than originally planned, this place would have hosted more people without anyone getting on top of each other. We were very comfortable and relaxed here and would stay here again in a heartbeat. We also had wonderful service from David Bridge of PEP Cars who helped us explore the area.
