Stayed Jul 14, 2025This is a very nice property. We are used to 4 and 5 star hotels and this property was well situated and handled the 7 of us really well. It had a ton of Pros. The 2 cons were the shower heads just weren't 4 or 5 star and the fridge was very warm when we first got there. Someone said they get that a lot the first day so I suspect the cleaning crew leaves it open for too long. We had to put the milk and yogurt back in the ice chest for fear of it going bad it was so warm. It was fine the second day. There were plenty of Pros.

Stayed Jun 26, 2025Everything was great - EXCEPT - the house was HOT. The AC would not go below 69 on the main floor and 68 in the bedrooms. The East end Primary Suite was a constant 75-76 degrees even at 7:00 a.m. We brought fans - the humidity was significant in the house and NONE OF US ever felt cool. The loft was even worse. If the house would have stayed cool - to the temp of the thermostat - then the stay would have been a 10-10. Location was perfect - pool was great. A service elevator would make it so much better but that's a bit above and beyond. The AC was a problem.

Stayed Jul 25, 2024The house was perfect for our group!! Plenty of room for our group of 10 women, sisters, daughters, aunts, and cousins to celebrate our beloved aunts 70th birthday and our super fun cousin’s 50th!! 3 full bathrooms and 1extra large powder bath was a must for all these women!!

Stayed Apr 11, 2024This is a great property and comfortable for the most part. I think it would be important to consider the 'audience' (so to speak) regarding whether it is appropriate for all groups. For instance, we rented to house eight old (literally) friends from High School, all of whom are now in their mid-to-late 60s. While three of the bedrooms were fine - although still up many stairs, the loft bedroom (area) is NOT for the elderly but could/should be considered perhaps a danger for older folks; something to consider. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed the house, the enormous kitchen, etc. Parking was fine as long as you were here before the tubing season (starting May 1), as parking on the streets was not an issue in April. Overall, it's a nice place, but we would have to consider other options should we, a bunch of older folks, be to congregate for our 'friends retreat' in New Braunfels again.

Stayed Jul 13, 2023New home design was perfect and location was amazing! Accessing the river was so easy and enjoyed having the pool for fun between river floats. I'd add towel hooks and an outdoor garbage can near the pool, but not a deal breaker and will definitely book again!
