Just Steps to the Beach!

Spacious house, accommodated all 12 of us with no problem. Lots of toys for kids, and parking for 5 cars. Internet, AC, & TVs worked well. Beds were OK, and kitchen equipment was adequate (we cooked a lot). Nothing fancy, and common areas are a bit dark due to orientation of house and neighboring homes close by, but nice neighborhood. 2-min walk to beach.

Perfect house for our reunion. Lots of space for everyone to enjoy.

Pros: The property has 2 kitchens, 2 loving rooms, plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. Several bedrooms have thier own balcony. 2 sets of washer and dryers (great for large groups). The property has plenty of amenities to help you enjoy the beach and relax. The backyard is fenced in and there is free parking (great for VA Beach area). There are fire extinguishers, and other safety items at the property. The rules are not unreasonable for check out. The TVs operate on Roku. We didnt find remotes for each TV, but you can use the app without an issue. The property has a playroom- which was the selling point for my child. We had enough space and bathrooms in the house that we were not on top of each otherCons: The property needs to be fumigated. Spiders, wasps, flies and mosquitoes inside of the home (beginning the day we arrived) made it uncomfortable. Everyone has large bites and 2 were stung. The coffee maker in the first kitchen does not properly work. The property is dated which is disappointing when you are spending thousands of dollars to stay there. Several drawers did not work. One of the bathrooms only had cold water. The appliances are quite old and as others mentioned do not have water dispenser or ice makers. Late check in at 4 and early check out at 10am. * we checked into the place in the evening - so I am only sharing for awareness*. The stairs are narrow and one person got injured.

My family and I and another family shared the property. We had a great time! The back deck in the backyard are great. The outdoor shower is great. The large dining room room is perfect for big groups. I highly recommend this property for large groups.

My family was in town for a funeral. We came from different states and met at the house. There were 12 of us and the ages ranged from 90 to almost 2 years old. The location was perfect. The access to the beach was easy and the owners provided chairs, towels, umbrellas, sun screen, and a wagon to haul it all down. Chics Beach was a wonderful location for the children to play in the ocean. We would definitely consider renting the house again should the occasion arise.

we had a wonderful time. The house was perfect. WE could have used more lamps in the main room as it was dark unless we turned on the bright overhead light. The electrical outlets in the bathroom stopped working upstairs. Y ou might want to check that. But overall, all was well.

Quiet neighborhood-very kid friendly.

We really liked the location. The beach umbrellas, chairs and wagons were very helpful with the two year old and all the kites and toys we took to the beach. The three tables allowed us to do puzzles, drawing and meals at the same time. This is a well equipped house. We look forward to returning to this property.
