Just Breathe - 2nd Row Home, 3 Bedrooms / 2.5 Bathrooms

This was such a perfect house for us!! We are actually already looking to book it for next year. The location for access to the beach was close enough that we felt we were oceanfront. It came with everything that was needed and was so clean. It truly was the perfect, cozy, beach cottage!

Overall the house was nice, however with the storm it rained most of the time. Also with few windows on the front of the house from living area made it very dark inside. I also emailed the person whose name was on the card about the sink and toilet in master bathroom. The sink would not drain and the toilet would run periodically. I know the storm was headed to the coast and therefore made the repair less important, but it was reported. Again the storm was approaching the Carolinas making the weather conditions basically dangerous. I think the word the TV kept using was catastrophic conditions with flooding, storm surges, and high winds. Therefore my family left on Tuesday. I did take out insurance but was wondering if there would be some sort of refund for the four nights we did not stay. You look forward to vacation all year and then weather conditions make it difficult to remain the whole week. Thank you Vickie Page

The location of the house was perfect, you just walk across the street which is convenient. The floors were little dirty along with the bathroom rugs, but we swept and washed everything. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook although for any further tenants, the coffee pot is a Keurig one cup. The view from the front porch is great, we enjoyed having coffee in the mornings. We recommend this house to future tenants; it is perfect for vacation and a great place to relax and enjoy the beach!

The house was just as described. Plenty of room for four adults. The location of the home was not for us. The only thing within walking distance was the beach. Our one and only trip to Holden Beach was enjoyable but not for us.

Loved this cute home! It is small, but worked fine for 5 of us. Nicely updated and very clean. Easy access to beach, although crossing the road is a little scary with kids. The 3rd bathroom advertised in the carport area was smelly and had spiders. We didn’t use it. Nice deck and front porch. Comfortable beds and a stocked kitchen. Be sure to bring all paper products, soap, detergent etc. Nothing provided. Overall, a very nice home!

This place was everything we needed it to be. On the smaller side but enough space for your family of 5. Would have been nice to have towels included as per of the linens. Clean.

Hi, To be honest we had a really bad experience the first night. We killed five cockroaches that night and saw more. One bug ran on the ceiling in the living room and hid under the fridge in the kitchen. Some bugs hid in a crack between the master bedroom door casing and the wall. You need to seal the door frames and keep the bugs out of the house! My daughter cried the first night and I was not able to sleep. The manager said the bugs are water bugs. Never in my life I had to deal with something like this in a rental. We will definitely not rent this property next year because of the bug experience. Thank you, Caius Barbu

Don't let the small size fool you - this is a great beach house. Beautifully and whimsically updated and decorated, with modern appliances and a well-appointed kitchen. Nice front and back decks. There's a half bath and shower downstairs, great for that from-the-beach bathroom run or preliminary shower before going inside. Beach access is fantastic - just across the street. Addressing some matters raised in previous reviews: 1. one bedroom has under-bed storage, another has a dresser, another has a corner cabinet. Lack of closet space was just not an issue. 2. Charcoal grill only. 3. TV- make sure the cable box is on, source is HDMI 1, and go from there. The rooms and house are small - if this was a big house, it would be twice the price. The decks really extend the living area. The space is cleverly used, the location is unbeatable, and it's great value for money. We absolutely will stay here again.

The house was clean and well-appointed. The bedrooms were small and lacked closet space. The kitchen was stocked with cookware for small easy meals. The beach access is directly across the street which makes it conveinent. the front porch was delightful. There was always a pleasant breeze. The large back deck was a great place to eat in the evening, however it was too warm other times of day. The four adults in our party had a great time. Not sure if I would recommend for a family with children due to bedroom sizes and storage space in the bedrooms. When we arrived, there were no keys in the lockbox. A call to Proactive Vacations took care of that issue. We also needed assistance with the television and Proactive was very helpful.

Clean and well taken care of...will definitely stay again! Great location with beach access right across the street!
