Great location!

Highly recommend this beautiful beach house! The view was gorgeous! We directly faced the ocean and beach access over the dunes was literally steps away! The pool was heated and easily accessible on the property. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Host was very helpful, answered questions promptly, and even went out of his way to fix a TV issue!

Our stay at Pelicans Watch was absolutely perfect. The location couldn’t be better—right on the beach with the most incredible sunrises and sunsets visible from the porches, living room, and even the bedrooms. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and stepping outside for beach walks and shelling was a highlight of every day. We found some amazing shells during our trip!The house itself was beautifully maintained and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The heated pool was a huge bonus, and having an elevator to the top floor made things so much easier for moving luggage and groceries.One thing we loved most was that the house truly had everything for the beach—chairs, toys, and all the gear—so we didn’t have to bring a thing. It made the whole trip so easy and relaxing.This was one of the most comfortable and enjoyable beach stays we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back!

Great house! Location to the beach was perfect and house was full of books and amenities for our use. Thanks for a great stay even it was during TS Debby.

The house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and a two year old. The owner was fabulous to communicate with, and the house was super clean, well-stocked, and it was obvious that the owner has thought out all the little details. Being from Washington state, we really appreciated the pool chairs and toys available and the availability of beach chairs. We enjoyed the decks with plenty of sitting space, the spacious bedrooms, the amazing kitchen, and the living room for family time. This beach house was really well thought out. I can’t express how wonderful our stay was! Thank you to a great owner who takes so much care to keep the house and pool immaculate and comfortable. We hope to make this a yearly trek!

Pelican Watch was magical for mothers day at a quiet section of the beach with a heated swimming pool. The pelicans flew over head every day. Irv was a great communicator before during and after our stay. The house is close to one of the Holden Golden mailboxes. We found the Holden Sea Biscuits and large shells.

Excellent location - bathroom shower curtain in Jack and Jill bathroom needs to be replaced (had mold on it). Property manager was incredibly attentive.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Holden Beach. The house was comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. Any questions we had were promptly answered by the property owner. The pool was a big plus and used by all! The beach was a brief walk away. Our stay was all we hoped for.

Mr Woods was great in keeping us up to date before our stay and also checking in with us during our stay when a storm was approaching. The home fit our family wonderfully, giving everyone their own space. Having a pool to cool off in after a long, hot day at the beach was GREAT. Sadly I did not pay close enough attention to the fact that there were so many steps to the beach access (my fault) Other than my hip talking to me each night, it was a perfect trip. Thank you Mr Woods for opening your lovely home to me and my family.
