Stayed Sep 11, 2025We loved the location. The stairs may be a problem in the future. The five of us are ages from 72 to 79. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was great. It would have been nice to have foil and baggies in the kitchen and the garage can drawer needs repairs. The top shelf of the dishwasher also needs to be repaired. Overall it was a wonderful stay. The view was beautiful!

Reviewer Comments: This was the annual fishing trip of the Back Bay Speckled Trout & Redfish Club. We don't usually stay in places quite this nice. We wanted a house with a pier for night fishing and this fit the budget. There were enough beds and sofas for 8 straight guys. Parking was a challenge for 2 trucks with boat trailers and 4 other vehicles. Management was great and easy to do business with. Got a much better rate from them than thru any of the online rental services. All in all we were impressed with the cleanliness and very satisfied with our stay.

Stayed Jul 11, 2025The location of the house was great for the beaches we wanted to visit both in Rockport and Port Aransas. The bedroom with the king size bed was WARM all weekend. You had to go through a bathroom to get to a bedroom and through a bedroom to get to the front door. Strange!Liked that each bedroom had a bathroom!

Stayed Apr 3, 2025Great house! Plenty of room and well stocked. Plenty of kitchen cookware, etc. - including both types of coffee makers. 3 1/2 bathrooms!!!!!! Access to the fishing pier was perfect. Great location - close to Rockport Beach and Main Street for shopping and dining. Cute photo ops off Main Street and there is a candy store! It was a little hot upstairs, so I suggest bringing a fan. It's an older house so it is expected. Wifi was spotty but that is normal in small towns - especially during the windy season and by the water. Can't wait to book again!

Stayed Mar 11, 2025The place is definitely an older stay, reminds me of Agatha Christie books but it had modern amenities. There was enough room for the family, my mother in law got her own room on first floor. Place was a lot bigger than I expected, didn’t know about the parlor in front. The pier was fun, caught a lot of fish, black drum red drum, and catfish. If you feel really brace, you can wade in and go chest deep for sea trout. Communication with host was excellent. We plan to visit again. The drum were biting off right side off pier during evening. WYI

Stayed Jul 18, 2024Booked this house based upon the photos and fishing access it provided. We arrived at the house to a pier that was dissembled and laying in the driveway. Though I had asked about any damage to the property before booking, no indication was given of this. AC struggles to keep the two upstairs rooms cool at night. House sleeps 6 comfortably. Sleeping accommodations outside the bedrooms were very uncomfortable. House was decently clean when we arrived. We had to clean anything used in the kitchen, so keep that in mind before using anything. Overall the location was fine, but lacked the basic amenities you would expect from a house near the beach. As I mentioned if you are coming to Rockport to fish, seek elsewhere for a better suited location.
