Jolly Mon - True Pink Sand Beach - Generator, Cistern, Purified Water & Ice

The view from the patio on the bluff overlooking the beach is absolutely spectacular. To have a beach and water like this to yourself is why you come to Eleuthera. We snorkeled the reefs right off the beach and saw fish, sharks, rays, and even a live conch. On calm days, we stayed at our own beach rather than drive to other Atlantic beaches. I just can’t see how any of them could be better. Plus, having the convenience of the house right there for cocktails and snacks was perfect. We probably spent more time up on the loungers at the top of the patio overlooking the beach than on the beach itself. On the windy days, we went to either Cocodimama (listed on Google Maps as Receiver’s Beach) or Ten Bay Beaches. Both were spectacular and we recommend you try both. Unlike Cocodimama, Ten Bay has very limited parking, and I can see it getting full with not enough room to turn around, which would mean backing down a narrow road to a spot wide enough to turn around. The Queens Baths up the coast offers spectacular big wave watching if you get a day with stronger surf.The house needs a little TLC (minor things, mostly caused by guests), but we would still come back in a heartbeat. The only detractor is the cost of dining out! We had no desire to spend a vacation cooking, so we ate out at some good nearby restaurants every evening. Finally, Jane was amazing to deal with and helped us out with so much. If we can ever afford Eleuthera again, this is where we’ll come back to!

Beautiful semi private beach

Great house, gracious host, everything we needed!

This is an amazing property and the owners (Jane and Scott) are wonderful to work with. They've thought of everything you'd need and want for a perfect stay. We've rented another property from jane and Scott for the last 5 years and decided to try Jolly Mon this time. We are now in love with this house, the location, the privacy and the views from every room. You are just steps away from soaking up the sun on the deck or putting your feet into the clear water and white sands of the 'private' beach right below. The house is just minutes from Governors Harbour, Tippy's Bar, and the Island Farm, but far enough away from anything else to make you feel like you're on a small private island.

Jollymon is a true paradise. The property feels secluded but easily accessible from either airport on the island. The house is amazing! It had all the amenities you could ask for, comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms and panoramic views. It also had great outdoor features with showers, nice seating, a good grill and beautiful landscaping. The beach! We were at jollymon for a week, swam at the beach everyday and saw 4 people…total! Even though all beaches on Eleuthera are public, this one felt private. The water, the sand and the reefs were all amazing. We snorkeled right off the beach and saw all kinds of fish. The water is crystal clear and inviting. We used the kayaks, boogie boards and snorkel gear provided. Jane and Scott were very accommodating hosts and we plan to book another stay in the future. Can’t wait to come back to jollymon!

The Jolly Mon is exceptionally clean, comfortable and well-stocked. The WiFi and the generator are outstanding and the landscaping on the property is lovely. Plus it’s directly on a gorgeous beach. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

This is one of the best properties weve ever stayed in in Eleuthera ovver many years. Beachfront is perfect. House is beautiful and comfortable with great amenities. Everything works! We will definitely return.

This property was beyond amazing! It had everything you’d need and LOTS of things you’d want! So relaxing! We felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves!
