Jimmy's Hideaway #131 Sound Front, Private Dock, Hot Tub, Pet-Friendly!

The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, and in a great location within walking distance of the beach, shops and restaurants. My only suggestions would be some lighting around the hot tub area, because there is none, and replacing all the pillows on the beds. They are very old and very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, but I’ll bring my own pillow.

The house has great amenities, including a large kitchen in open layout floorplan with a big table to play games, put together puzzles and have family dinners. The porches overlooking the water, the dock , and the hot tub add the the experience.

The decor is beautiful and it always seems clean when we arrive. So nice that beds are already made! The cons - there are always some light bulbs missing or burned out. Some you can work around, but others (like in bathrooms) are needed. The other big issue is water pressure or lack thereof, in sinks and showers. We guess it's because it's an old house with old plumbing. One toilet backed up on Thanksgiving Day, but plumber came the next day to fix it. Again, an inconvenience for the folks using that bathroom. Mr. Coffee was also worn out and wouldn't turn on after a few days there. We had to just make runs to Starbucks to make do, which wasn't ideal or inexpensive . But property managers did have a new coffee maker delivered the next day. So overall we still like Jimmy's and thankful property managers are responsive even during Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

For instance, not every bathroom has toilet paper. We had to run to the store to get more. There were no paper towels. The filtered water was quite slow—it would take a couple of minutes to fill a drinking cup. Water pressure in the showers was fairly low. Overall, these are small things, but the house was beautiful, had lovely decor, and the location was superb. We were asked to do quite a bit by the management company to prepare to leave and the language in the texts threatening fines if we did not do certain things seemed unnecessarily abrasive.

We have been renting sound front in WB for years. This is one of the best houses we stayed at. Clean, updated, comfortable, perfect lay out for families with young kids excellent location and responsive property mgmt company, We will be back to Jimmy’s hideaway!

House was well stocked with everything we needed to make family meals. Washer and dryer worked great. Friends that lived in area visited by boat. Can't say anything bad about the view. Had an issue with AC on 2nd floor but was repaired right away.

The decor is luxury, the furniture so comfortable, and kitchen fully stocked. The outdoor dock and little beach are amazing. And the location is perfect. We didn't even go to the beach much because we could hang there and park our boat. We will definitely be back.
