Two blocks off Magazine St and a stone’s throw to Jefferson Avenue, this space was a neighborhood corner store from its original construction in 1910 through sometime in the 1990’s. Short walk to Whole Foods, Guy’s & Domilises’s Po-Boys, Clancy’s, Patois and the best of Magazine St shopping. Quick Uber ride to the Quarter, Audubon Park, Tulane and Jazz Fest.

This is a large and spacious apartment (approx. 1000 sqft), with one separate bedroom and a private entrance direct to the sidewalk. It is located in the front, ground floor, of a quiet corner. Self check-in with a keyless lock.

Full kitchen, full bathroom, ample living space, washer and dryer, and free access to wifi. The bedroom boasts a new King size Westin Heavenly Bed providing a very comfortable night’s sleep, as well as ample closet space. Plenty of neighborhood (free) street parking. The kitchen is equipped-- large refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster. Ideal stay for two adults who want all the comforts of home while getting to enjoy the experience of daily life in uptown New Orleans. The space could also accommodate additional guests, esp. children, if license laws technically allowed for more than 2 guests in a one bedroom space.

Other things to note
We kindly ask you to be mindful of quiet hours between 8pm - 7am. Noise on our part will also be kept to a minimum during those hours as well, but you may occasionally hear sounds from the attached apartment. A dead-bolted door separates the the two spaces along with a sound proofing barrier. We are legally permitted to host short-term stays. (23-NSTR-16385)

First, let me compliment Gwyneth, the host. She was attentive, hospitable, kind, available while respecting one's privacy, and just a pleasant person. Second, the accommodations. The highest compliment I can pay is that while I don't sleep well when I travel, the bed felt like a pillowy cloud beneath me and I rested and slept like a dream. The rooms were beautifully appointed, and I felt so good being there. So in closing, I would recommend this location to anyone seeking a home away from home that is close to everything that makes New Orleans special and singular. I would stay there again in heartbeat!

What an amazing stay! This property is a perfect getaway in the Crescent City! Full kitchen for all the leftovers from the local restaurants. Comfortable living space with large tv for relaxing. Walking distance to the famous Magazine street. Beautiful touches that you do not normally find in rental homes. The host is nearby and very easy to get ahold of. I cannot wait to come back to one of my favorite cities and will be staying here again. Absolute gem!

Gwyneth was very welcoming and quick to respond to communications. She was always there if we had questions, but gave us space and privacy. The accommodations were everything we could hope for, comfortable, quiet and so well located. We loved staying there.

Our stay at this property was absolutely fantastic. The home was comfortable and clean, and the location couldn't have been better—perfectly situated for easy walks to the incredible restaurants and unique shops on Magazine and Tchoupitoulas. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet, and the off-street parking was a huge plus. We would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a truly local experience during their visit.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Jaspers' Corner Store The property was very comfortable and fully equipped. The neighborhood was quiet. We were visiting our son/daugther in law who lived a short walk down the street so it was the perfect location for us. We were also in town for Jazz Fest and found getting Ubers to wherever we needed very easy and quick. Gwyneth was pleasant to communicate with when booking and during our stay. We would definitely book here again!

Good size space, very quiet neighborhood. Attractive decor. Near a supermarket if needed. Bus nearby. One night a mechanical low ticking noise interfered with sleep for awhile

If you’re looking for proximity to everything New Orleans but be in one of the best neighborhoods you could find, this is it. The property itself is absolutely stunning with its high ceilings and southern charm. When I come back to New Orleans, we will plan our trip around staying here again!

It’s hard to find a one bedroom with such a large and inviting living room/gathering space. Great for a couple who wants extra room to have friends and family hang out. We loved the quiet corner location - walk to coffee, bookstore, restaurants. Definitely would rent again. Host was super responsive and helpful and price was a good value.

A perfect corner abode, fabulously furnished, and stocked with everything you might need. The location is in a very quiet neighborhood—convenient to Magazine Street, Audubon Park, the Garden District, and the Tulane/Loyal campuses, plus the Quarter is just a few minutes drive. We’d come back in a heartbeat!
