Jamevin Mountain retreat - Hidden Gem Perfect for Families & Large Groups

Plenty of room for 8 adults and 5 children with room to spare. Facilities were excellent with favorable comments from each family. Kids loved the community facilities - pool, yabbie pond, and playground. Plenty of wildlife to entertain us -kookaburras, kangaroos, AND a goanna! The pool table was a hit with the adults once the children were in bed. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience was had by all. Recommended.

The road up the mountain was exciting. There were 11 adults (3 generations in our group). We all walked up the hill to the recreation area and used the pool, tennis court and ping pong table. The house provided plenty of space in the kitchen/dining room for us to enjoy our Mexican evening and pool comp.All 11 of us agreed the accommodation, views and amenities are 5 star and perfect for a fun weekend. The host stands out Number one for communicationthe house was clean and tidy There was enough space for everyoneThe spa was nice and didn’t smell like other places I’ve been to. The house was nice and cool when we entered - especially as it was an extremely hot day. The area is beautiful with friendly kangaroos right under our balcony. The signs around the house made it easy to follow instructions. The first aid kit was visible and easy to find. (Not that it was needed - but I know my health and safety: so it’s important to see that it is there and available )Above all the just stands out for me- he made us feel very welcome and it was very easy to reach him when we needed him. Our stay was wonderful. House has everything you need for large groups. Family really enjoyed the hot tub and playing pool. Large porch is enclosed which made it easy to watch the kids play while adults relaxed. Thanks for a great stay Denis.

We had a great time at Jamevin! All the bedrooms are large and most have ensuites which our guests loved. The main kitchen/dining/lounge area is huge and has all the things you could need for a stay. Amazing views and loved the spa. Only downfall was no wifi and the mobile data is patchy.

This property is in a lovely spot on the mountain. Quiet and secluded. Perfect for a group get away. Highly recommend.

Firstly thank you to Denis who was a fantastic host! I would highly recommend Jamevin which is an awesome property in a stunning location. It was perfect for our group of ladies celebrating the end of our sporting season. The facilities were plentiful and offered options for all weather conditions. We loved exploring the local bushland and spent many hours on the tennis court and in the communal recreation area.

Make sure you confirm how many bedrooms you are getting as I assumed we got the 7 as advertised but the owner decides if you need 7 or not - we only got 6 for 9 nonrelated adults - very cozy and half of those beds didn't have sheets on them whole place needs maintenance and updated as very old as I said great area - we still have a fabulous weekend.
