Jacksonville Beach Cottage

We love this Beach House. We have stayed here 3 times now - cosy house, perfect size and location, very close to the beach, beautiful neighborhood. Very quick responses by D’Ann if needed.

It was our second visit to this cottage. We love the location to the beach and enjoy sitting on the front porch. We did not do much cooking as there were restaurants you can walk to and even more that you could drive to. We will be back!

You couldn’t ask for a better location! It was our first time in Jacksonville beach and we were so happy to be farther away from the busyness surrounding the pier. The beach was quiet and family friendly.The house fit our family of five just right. Honestly the bikes, beach wagons, umbrella, and boogie boards made the trips to the beach so much better and was a pleasant surprise. The only thing that we felt would make this house better would be to make the outdoor shower enclosed. It was great to get sandy feet rinsed off but with the neighbors house windows directly above the shower, the kids couldn’t get their bodies sand free while having to stay dressed. A lot more sand was tracked inside due to this.We will be back!

The host is responsive and attentive if you have questions. Just a few blocks to the massive beach where you can walk for miles. In a great neighborhood where you can also walk safely. The beds were acceptable, but not great. A comfortable cottage that feels like old Florida and decorated very nice.

The Salty Air Retreat is charming, tastefully decorated and the perfect place for my husband to recover from his surgeries at Mayo. The cottage is in a lovely residential neighborhood, with a sweet little front porch that we enjoyed relaxing on, nice and quiet, very close to Mayo and a five minute walk to the beach. Just perfect!D’Ann was very gracious and accommodated our needs. I could not have asked for a more relaxing stay during this very stressful time.

stay was good, great location, close to restaurants, shopping, observations, could not locate any dishwasher pods, garbage bags, no washing machine detergent. Over all would stay again.

This cottage was perfect. It was the perfect size and location. The kitchen had all we needed to eat in and grill. There was plenty of beach supplies. The area felt safe. We would definitely stay here again.

We really loved this Airbnb overall. It was clean, cozy, and a great place to stay! Just a quick heads-up for future guests: we noticed there were very limited supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent, and no shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, or body wash provided. It wasn’t a huge issue for us, as its close to town but something to keep in mind so you can come fully prepared. Otherwise, we had a great experience and would absolutely stay again!

I am from Jacksonville originally but have lived in Cincinnati, Ohio for the past 20 years. I come every summer to visit my mom and dad. We rented this lovely home in order to have a visit near the beach and it was absolutely perfect! We found it delightful and had everything we needed for a perfect beach getaway!

Charming cottage and amazing location! I especially appreciated the bikes as I was able to bike all around Jax Beach easily. D’Ann was responsive and made the check in process easy. I hope to stay here next time I’m in Jax Beach!

What a wonderful time had at this most amazing beach house! It’s perfectly situated next to the beach and all that Jax Beach and Ponte Vedra have to offer!

The beach cottage was great- comfortable beds quiet neighborhood, quick walk to the beach. The front porch was cozy, and we enjoyed sitting there in the rocking chairs every evening. It was a great walkable neighborhood.The kitchen was adequate, but we did not do a lot of cooking. Plenty of paper products. The one restaurant that we really liked was Marker 32 about 10 to 15 minute ride, on a marina.

Great location only a couple blocks to the beach. Owner was easy to communicate with. Absolutely no issues Would definitely stay there again

We spent the days with family and enjoyed evenings in our own bungalow with beautiful sunrises during the Thanksgiving weekend! Time with family was perfect and the serene evenings and early mornings allowed us to rest and recharge. The owner was very accommodating and was easy to communicate with during our check in. Perfect for 4-6 people but we only had three. There is only one bathroom but with our small family it was not an issue. Lovely beach getaway!

The property was clean and in a great location. The house was comfortable and we had a blast on the front porch! The only thing I would suggest is replacing the frying pans as they are Teflon and scratched.
