Nestled on the foreshore of Callala Bay and overlooking the pristine waters of Jervis Bay, you will be delighted with this Spanish style beach house that is designed with comfort in mind.

Once you arrive you won't want to leave. Enjoy a swim only a few metres from your back door and then sit back on the deck enjoying watching the kids play on the reserve. Watch pods of dolphins that are often seen swimming amongst the boats moored in the bay. In the colder months pick a few sticks fromthe reserve and light the cosy open fire indulging in warmth whilst still enjoying the amazing views from the living areas.

A well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and coffee machine. The house has 3 bathrooms, a washing machine and a dryer.

This property is absolute beach reserve. There is so much to do in the area, taking day trips to wineries at Coolangatta, Kangaroo Valley and Berry. Take the local ferry from Myola to Huskisson for markets and dolphin watch cruises. Explore the local National Parks, launch your boat from the ramp or do a spot of fishing from the jetty. Surf beaches are close by or a short drive to Callala Beach with its gentle waves for lazing about. Callala Bay shopping centre caters for your needs with an IGA, butcher, chemist and cafe. There is also a hardware store for all your fishing requirements including fishing licenses. There is also a golf course close by.

Linen:
All linen (sheets and bath towels) is supplied for your stay and included in the tariff. For the comfort of our guests, we do not triple sheet. All beds have a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and a quilt with a full cover. BYO beach towels. 

Property Specific Notes:
Enough wood will be supplied for the fireplace/slow combustion wood heater for the first two nights. After that, guests must purchase top-up wood and kindling from the local petrol stations at their own cost.

This property has external security cameras located at the front and rear of property monitoring the boundary.

Pets are NOT welcome at this property.

Wi-fi is offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge issues will be dealt with asap but cannot be guaranteed.

To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for Schoolies breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.

Privacy: This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.

Check-in and -out Times: During the busy months of December and January, the check-in time is 4 pm to facilitate peak back-to-back changeovers. Our standard check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 10 am. We offer a complimentary early check-in or late check-out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check-ins or late check-outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure an early check-in or later check-out is to book the property for an extra night. Contact us for a special rate for this extra night. All Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening prior. All complimentary early check-ins or late check-outs must be confirmed in writing so that our housekeeping team are informed accordingly.

Guest Registration: Guest registration is mandatory for all bookings and replaces the need for a cash bond for short term bookings (up to 20 nights). It is essential for fraud prevention, damage claims, safety, and emergency purposes. The process varies depending on the online travel agent used. Direct bookings require the booker to upload a copy of their driver’s licence and credit card through our encrypted online process.

Additional Guests: The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.

No Extras: This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.

EV Charging: For safety reasons and to comply with insurance requirements, guests are prohibited from charging electric vehicles at any property that does not have a dedicated EV charging station. Charging electric vehicles without proper infrastructure poses a fire hazard, and in the unfortunate event of an incident, insurance cover may be compromised, and the guest held liable. If in doubt, ask our team for the closest EV charging station.

Long Stay Discounts: Some of our properties are well suited to longer stays. For bookings of 30 nights or more, we may be able to offer a reduced rate compared to what’s advertised. Please feel free to get in touch with our team with your preferred dates, and we’ll be happy to look at the best available rate for you.

For medium-term bookings (21-40 nights) and long-term bookings (41-90 nights), a non-negotiable cash security deposit is required. This deposit is refunded after the departure inspection, with any damage or loss deducted. The minimum cash deposit is $2000, with higher amounts for larger or more expensive properties, or at the owner’s/manager’s discretion.

Peace of Mind: For your added security we will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held by us and not disbursed until after your departure.

    What a great view and a lovely welcoming fire made all the difference for our group of friends. Wish the 3 days for 2 deal offered on the booking page would have worked. But it wouldn’t without charging the full amount. Leaving at 10am Sunday seemed to cut our great stay too short.

    Very relaxing birthday weekend for extended family. Suited all ages in our group from 10-84. Quiet, waterfront, great views, walk straight out the back gate and onto the bayside reserve. The house itself is spacious and a great traditional design.

    Positives: Beautiful location with amazing view and nice outdoor area. 4 well sized bedrooms, nice fireplace for cold days and good kitchen appliances. All kitchen basics were also provided (oil, salt, coffee etc). Negatives (a lot so I’ll try to keep it short): Literally every room had some insects nesting in the corners. Mostly spider webs with dead flys and mosquitoes hanging in the middle of them. Lots of uncleaned surfaces throughout the house. We stayed during a bad weather event with lots of rain and some wind (nothing too crazy for australia I have to say). Windows and roof had water leaks and we lost power to some of the power points. The power issue was resolved within a few hours thanks to the swift response of the property manager (really another positive, these guys did seem to care and were responsive). Some lights outside were never working which I assume is due to some fundamental electrical issues at this property. Outdoor area has some shade sails hanging over the bbq area. They were banging in the wind non stop which was quite annoying especially at night time. Furniture in the house (especially in living area) should have been replaced ages ago. Lot’s of stains on carpet, sofas and cushions. One other positive, the property manager did offer to send some cleaning personnel after we flagged the cleanliness issue. Considering we were more or less in the house full time with a baby and a toddler we decided not to have any cleaning people coming. This house needs a full spring clean an renovation. Not something that’s done in a couple of hours. Most water taps in the house are also leaking. There is a some mould already building up in the vanity downstairs due to constant water leaking. All in all a very disappointing stay. Certainly not a luxury experience as advertised on Stayz.

    Freezing weekend of weather but we couldn’t care less, spent by the beautiful open fire with magnificent views of the water. Very relaxing and peaceful weekend!

    The location, the property is on point. This house is extremely gorgeous! But unfortunately for us, it was quite dirty. Cobwebs everywhere, the kitchen was dirty. I had to spend the first hour cleaning the kitchen. The gas also ran out on the 3rd day as such we couldn’t Heat or cook. I have an investigation pending to some our issues, therefore I will leave it at that.
