It's A Wonderful Life - Dune Home w/ Pool, 4 Bedrooms / 4 Bathrooms

We really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved using the pool when we weren’t at the beach. The kitchen is nicely equipped. There’s plenty of room for games or puzzles in the living room. Something else we liked is every point of access to the pool is gated. Even the one from the house. We didn’t have to worry about the 4 year old sneaking out to the pool.

The house, It's a Wonderful Life was perfect for our family of 9 vacation. It was so clean, beautiful and decorated with the right touch!! The pool was clean and so refreshing! We spent a lot of time in and by the pool because the ocean was pretty rough. We rented a golf cart just for fun and to do the heavy work for taking things to the ocean. It was only a short/easy walk to the ocean but with 9 of us, we took a lot of stuff to the beach. Lots of deck space front and back for all of us to enjoy! Our vacation was just as the name of the house said it... It's a wonderful life! If you want a place to really enjoy beach life and relax this is the vacation place for you. I highly recommend this house and Holden Beach, NC!! Plenty of shops and stores only minutes away.

We enjoyed the location and the house has great potential. However, like a previous review stated cleanliness is the worst we’ve stay at on vacation. This house was pretty filthy to our surprise. We couldn’t walk barefoot in the house without our feet turning black. There were food stains on the walls and counters. You could not see through any of the glass storm doors. There was dirt and food in a few of the beds left by previous renters. The mattress cover in the bunk bed room was either covered in dried blood or chocolate milk. We let the property manager know about the issues within 30 hours of checking in, and a staff member did return my call the next day. However, her manager didn’t get back to me until 3 days later and that was because I kept following up. The downstairs bedroom had water coming up through the tiles. To top it all off, the night before we left there was a baby snake found under the ping pong table in the garage. We didn’t leave any of the doors open down there, so how it got in remains a mystery. We removed it. I would look elsewhere when renting in this area.

If cleanliness is low on the priority list, then this is the house for you!! We had dirty stained “clean linens”, the mattress covers were stained, multiple cockroaches in the house, dust covered ceilings fans, cob webs all over, the key pad to enter only worked occasionally, light bulbs out, and we found toe nails on the bathroom floor!! The location to the beach was nice and the pool was decent. We were very disappointed to pay the money we did, only to be grossed out!! The house has definitely been used and abused!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The location can't be beat, walking distance to the beach and intracoastal. The views from the top floor living/kitchen area are great, and the undeveloped land behind the property was great for viewing wildlife. The house itself was even better than I expected. The living room furniture was so nice and very comfortable, as was the bed. Thanks for a great stay!

Stay was nice. Met expectations. Place was clean. No linens(except when staying 7 days), no TP or towels provided. Kids had a blast and ping pong table was great. Saw roaches out by the pool but not in the house. Highly recommend. 4.5 stars.
