Our Cuile (sheepfold-farm) is a holiday house of 80 m2 located in the extreme northwest of Sardinia. Built in the late 18th century and completely renovated in October 2015, it can accommodate up to 12 people without compromising the vital space of each one. This house is ideal for lovers of green tourism.

Stayed Aug 26, 2025This should’ve been advertised as glamping, not a home. With so many broken screens, we had to leave windows and doors open to get a breeze since there was no air-conditioning. But that let field mice run rampant through the house. There should be a fan in every room, the heat was horrible. They should advertise that the water is not potable and we need to bring in our own water. It rained and knocked out the power so for a long time we had no running water and no toilet toilets. We could not use toilet paper in the toilet, and that was a big hassle. We had to walk a mile half mile through a huge puddle to get to a breaker box to get the power back on The puddle was about 8 inches deep so it was very difficult to get to. The hut that has the washing machine had obvious signs of rat infestation, there was rat poop everywhere.Overall, we are rather disappointed. But, if you had advertised as an outdoor glamping experience, you would set expectations more clearly.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969we really liked il cuile. we were the group of 8 adults + 1 baby and the house was perfectly comfortable for us. 2 bathrooms are great as there were no queues, kitchen is small but we have managed it, surrounding is beautiful - cows, cats, birds, amazing sunsets. the only disadvantage was that there is not a potable water but this is the problem of the big part of sardinia. we just did not know it. we were perfectly satisfied, we strongly recommend this accommodation, we enjoyed our stay there.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our group, 7 adult people used the home very comfortable. All inside is new and made with taste. Complete equipment makes holiday at Valeria's home perfect ! You can grill, you can cook, there is all what you will need during your stay. And the home itself - beautiful ! we loved it. Maybe on the pictures it look as a small, but inside really it can handle ~10-12 people. Due to location away from the main road, car strongly recommended. But then it is a huge advantage. Quiet, peaceful, hmmm morning coffee watching the sea and hills around..... Contact with Valeria and her husband - perfect, both speak English and Italian of course. Always helpful. Always available. Good point to visit all surroundings - lovely beaches in the north of the island, Stintino, Grotta di Nettuno, Alghero, Sassari, Bosa, all those places are just 1-2 hours away. Good connection to the airport in Alghero and Olbia. Rent it and enjoy :) Lukasz and friends.
