We loved the house,the pool and the scenery!Lovely beaches close bySad that Caspersen beach was still closed due to damage by hurricane I was really looking forward to spending a day on it.It was a great vacation and hoping to return

This is the second time staying in Venice at this property & we had just as much fun this time as we did last time! The neighborhood is very quiet & we just love having the waterway & animal sanctuary right there! The pool is great & we used it SO much. Any issues we had were taken care of right away! I will say it can get very hot inside d/t old windows & doors, so we brought extra blankets to cover all the windows & the sliding glass door & brought fans this year to help with that. There are SO many mosquitoes around as well, but that’s Florida for ya! Just a heads up. Overall it’s a great little house & the area is wonderful especially if you have little kids! We will be back again!

We cannot say enough about what a great spot this is. First, the backyard is super private. You feel like you are in your own little oasis. We saw so many birds and even the elusive bobcat!! Our walks along the canal each morning and evening were magical as we watched fish jump and saw a manatee.They had everything at the house you’d need for the beach which was very nice.The house itself was great. It’s well equipped with whatever you need for vacation. We had an issue with the BBQ and the owner contacted me right away to offer to bring over another one while the new one was being delivered in a couple days. They were so nice to work with.We have nothing negative to say about this place!!

The house was lovely and very private. The host was very kind and responsive. Many little things were included that made for a seamless stay (laundry soap, garbage bags, coffee). I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our two week stay at this home We loved the location! . It had everything one would need for a short/long stay. Loved the pool and being on the waterway. It has a nice sized laundry/entry way. We did have a couple of issues early on. One with the washing machine and the other with the air conditioning, but the host was VERY quick toremedy both issues. One thing we did find disappointing was the cleanliness of the home. We put a half day into cleaning the home (wiping down the inside of cupboards, vacuuming under furniture/beds and closets and so forth). Things that one would expect when renting and the previous guests paying a cleaning fee as we did. Overall, it is a nice home to spend your vacation. I am simply sharing this information in hopes that there is a little more attention given to the cleaning of the home in preparation for guests. remedy the situation .rem situations.

Listed below are the pros & cons! We had a great trip! There were 5 of us including 3 little kids. The location of the house is in such a nice quiet neighborhood that also has a great bike/walking path right out the back along a beautiful waterway that offered beautiful views of the sunset. We saw so many different kinds of lizards, cool frogs, a huge iguana, an amazing bobcat & a gopher tortoise right from our yard! Walking down the path it goes to the wildlife area & we saw so many tortoise homes & had beautiful birds come right up to us! The heated pool was great! Pros: location, enclosed pool (can be heated), grill, price, carport, owner communication, beach sifters & chairs, lots of bath & beach towels, washer & dryer, wildlife Cons: So many mosquitoes it was miserable outside the house or pool, the AC couldn’t keep up with the heat. It got up to 81d almost daily & we had to buy fans. The master curtains didn’t cover the whole windows & were see through so no privacy. Then the curtains in the living room were so sheer/see through they let the sun heat it up bad(we covered the windows with towels & blankets for privacy & to keep it cool), light switches don’t actually turn on any lights except in the kitchen /living room, no bathroom counter space & no mirror over the sink, just a very weird layout/setup, no full length mirrors, lots of cleaning rules when paying a cleaning fee. Overall it was a good stay.

Great location, pool was a plus although we spent 90% of our time at local beaches. We had a fantastic time. It was a nice home away from home.

I brought my mom and son here for a week to visit with family. It was everything we hoped for and thoroghly enjoyed our stay. Bed were comfortable. It was centrally located and on the International waterway that provided an excellent and safe place for exercise or just a nice walk. We enjoyed the pool every day. The house was equipped with accomodations that made it easy to eat in and play without having to buy alot of extras. The beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella came in handy. Angie was great to work with and responded to messages promptly. If we ever get a chance to return to the area I hope the house will be available because we would love to stay again. We all miss it since we left.

The location was perfect for what we needed at this time. Some beautiful old growth trees, bike path, and Shamrock Park near by is an excellent option for tennis and basketball. We enjoyed our stay and the property management was very friendly and helpful.

Villa situated in quiet area in wooded surrounds. Lots of wildlife to watch, squirrels, birds even saw a bobcat. Ideal for beach trips, boat rides and numerous restaurants nearby. Thanks for a lovely stay
