Island’s Delite – Breezy Beach Days Ahead

Absolutely LOVED this house!! Very clean! Fans and TVs in every room (which is a must with small children). Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could need (except scissors? Lol maybe I just didn’t look hard enough haha). Lots of storage space in the rooms and bathroom! Having 2 showers was very helpful for a rental with only 3 BR! I cannot say enough about how much we loved our stay here! So close to the pier and so many dining options in the area we were very impressed!! And sooooo close to the beach I could easily communicate with my family back and forth from the porch! Really enjoyed the beach with no crowds so my kids could run around and have fun without bothering anyone else! Would definitely stay again!!! Oh and the gate on the porch came in CLUTCH for keeping my littles wrangled in!! Thanks again!

Luckily the weather cooperated- minimal rain. Beach house is in great shape- Lewis Realty doing a great job handling the property. Minor issues are the outdoor grill needs replacing- badly. Never figured out how to play DVDs- an explanation of the TV/ Video system would be a help to other occupants! Overall great stay!

A wonderful vacation for our family! Great location near restaurants and shops. Beautiful beach with direct and close access. Recommend!

My husband and I had an amazing week with our three kiddos age 8-12. The property was clean and right on the beach, which made it easy for the kids to play then run in for lunch or go to the bathroom. The house was clean, roomy, close to the pier and food, and we can’t wait to come back!!

This is our second year at Island Delites and this year was even better than the first. It was so nice to talk with our neighbors who knew about the area we had met her last year when we stayed. We appreciate all of the care that goes in to having us stay and look forward to coming again although I don’t think they will allow dogs next year. Love this happy place?

Vrbo, I had no dealings with you other than being charged admin fees when I did not realized I was on a third party site. I had just emailed the Lewis Company who is the property management for Island Delites and was promoted to continue booking which I did. But upon booking my reservation I was surprised it went through Vrbo and not Lewis directly. I called Vrbo and explained my situation with no resolution. I did think I was booking directly with Lewis. I did not appreciate the extra charge from Vrbo when the only contact I’ve had with you was this survey and the original booking fee. I will be more careful next time when booking a trip. I’m sure your service is good for some but not this time for me. Thank you.

We had an excellent stay at this perfectly fitted out bungalow on the beach. Every sunrise was a treat and the beach was so clean and we had it mostly to ourselves with our dog. Surf City is a lovely All American seaside town without the commercial history and bustle. We will be back for sure!

Was clean and peaceful.enjoyed the downtime with family and dog. Was a great location with slot of stores and restaurants nearby.
