The home had everything we needed. All rooms were laid out extremely well. We enjoyed the nice quiet neighborhood and closeness to walking trails and many fun adventures. The rec room was a fantastic idea especially if weather is wet outdoors. Loved the home!

Very impressed! We loved the property, it was a home away from home- owners thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable and accessible as possible, from all the great cooking pots/pans, cooking utensils, lots of towels, to the Traeger grill, and the most comfortable beds/pillows, and the have a subscription to many different TV apps like Netflix! Thank you! Everything was wonderful & beautiful! The teenagers loved the game room too!

This home is well appointed and comfy. The beds are GREAT too. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Absolutely perfect location. Duluth is 15 minutes away, and Wisconsin Point is no more than 20. The island has a beach and a great walking path. Miniature golf is on the opposite end of the island. The house is in a quiet location with some water views. It was clean and as described. The game room was a blast. The beds were comfortable. I recommend staying here.

Lovely place, clean and comfy! Owners responded to an inoperable coffee maker and replaced it quickly.I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

The property was in great shape and as listed. We had 4 adults, 2 teenagers and one dog.The location is wonderful, at the end of Barker Island and on a cul-de-sac. It is also conveniently located to groceries stores, brewers, restaurants and bars in Superior as well as Duluth and to two Wis. State parks (Amnion Falls and Pattison Falls).The 'game' room, or Arcade was a blast with the Teens as well as the adults. The kitchen was well set up and there was plenty of room for all 6 of us to eat, play and relax.We could take walks on the island and the neighborhood was safe and the friendly.At one time we saw 4 Red Foxes playing in the backyard. The only issues was the at the two back bedrooms 'got hot at night'. The AC is a wall mounted unit in the mail part of the house and when doors are closed the rooms have no celling fans or additional AC. The Master was fine as it has a celling fan. It was 90-95 F the whole time we where in Superior, that is hot for that area. So, the AC had to do a lot of work.We loved the place and would go again. Thanks

We loved it! This home has all you need and is set up to accommodate all ages. We spent a lot of time in the game room, and also enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The beds were so comfortable too. This was our second stay, and the home is amazing! So comfortable, relaxing, and the game room is an added bonus! Beds are very comfortable, and the themed bedding is a great touch! Fabulous hosts, and always a fast response for any questions! Would highly recommend!

Home is amazingly beautiful and exactly as the photos portrayed. One small issue with the front door was immediately corrected. We enjoyed the home so much, we extended our stay and coming back for a few more weeks soon! Very friendly hosts, with immediate contact if it was necessary. We had a wonderful stay at this quaint property close to Duluth and other activities. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was decorated nicely for the holidays and had everything we needed. The garage included a bonus fun area for hanging out. Loved being close to the harbor and sailboats, yet feeling like no one was around. We loved it and would definitely stay again!

We highly recommend the Island Oasis if your looking for a terrific stay in the Twin Ports. The home is as advertised. The check in/check out process was seamless and the hosts were great.The technology was easy to use from the wifi to the TV. The game room that has been set up in the heated garage is a lot of fun for kids of all ages. The home is super clean and the kitchen is fully stocked for your cooking needs.

We booked this property for its location to the Bentleyville lights. We stayed with 4 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs. The home is warm and welcoming from the moment you walk through the door. Plenty of natural light. Everything was clean and the kitchen/bathrooms were stocked with fresh linens and anything you need to make and serve meals. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kids loved the game area! The fireplace is a nice touch for the cold winter evenings! The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. We would absolutely would stay here again the next time we are in the Duluth/Superior area.

We enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving! We had two families getting together with kids. We loved the extra game room space and the house was a perfect space for our time together. The hosts were amazing and easy to communicate with. We loved being able to bring our dog and enjoyed walking around the island! What a great spot! We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and the pictures were very accurate. The listing stated check in is at 3:30 but we were then we were told three days prior check in was 4:00. An accurate check in time would have been helpful as we traveled from New jersey and we were more than ready to check in when we arrived .Also, we had to contact owner to get in as original code we received did not work upon arrival. Overall, excellent location and very clean.

The house is beautiful. We were there with 4 kids and the garage turned play room was phenomenal especially when it rained outside. The kids had a blast in and out of the house.

My husband and I stayed with our young children and we all loved every minute of it!! Lots of things to do at the house and around the neighborhood! There was even a pack n play there for families with young babies! Everything we needed was right there. I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone and we hope to stay again in the future!!

Absolutely perfect stay. Super cool house that slept 4 very comfortably. Looks to be new. Fun game room in the garage. Superior is a sneaky fun alternative to Duluth. Still within driving range to all our North Shore favorite destinations. Would def stay here again.

Our stay here was wonderful! I am a teacher and this was our last hurrah before I go back to work next week. We brought our dog and our 10-week-old baby and this was perfect for everything! The house was clean and organized with thoughts and detail in everything. From having laundry detergent so we didn't have to go get any to shampoo and more than enough towels, it was great! This house had the fastest internet I've experienced and yes, I'm a nerd and ran a speed test and it blew me away! Over 700mbps download speed and over 35mbps upload speed. (for those wondering what those numbers mean, it means everyone in the house could stream movies/shows and work on their computer at the same time with NO slowdown of speeds. It also means, that if you need to upload photos or videos of your trip to Facebook/Instagram, it was plenty fast to do that as well!) We brought our boat and it was very easy to access by purchasing a slip at Barkers Marina for about $30/day. It was so nice being able to leave our boat there and be able to walk down to the docks or drive park and be on our way to beautiful Lake Superior. The layout was wonderful, the kitchen was big, plenty of light everywhere, and very dark blinds to keep the sun out in the morning. Plenty of space in the yard for us to play with our dog and take her on walks. Great location with the lake and river of course but also only about 25 minutes to Pattison State Park where we went hiking We will DEFINITELY be staying here again!

This is a newer home and has everything you need especially for cooking in the kitchen. Has a second refrigerator in the garage along with a pool table and a pair of kayaks to use.the area is more quiet and peaceful on a small island. down the y. Nice

My wife and our two dogs had a great stay at the Island Oasis. The home was very clean and orderly, loved the decoration throughout the house. It was very cozy and just what we were looking for. We watched a couple small foxes play out in the backyard for the two mornings we were there. Overall, great stay in an awesome location.

I recently stayed at this Island Oasis and had a fantastic experience. The host was extremely accommodating and made sure that everything was in order for our stay. The house was extremely clean and had all the amenities we needed. The location was also perfect! We walked the paddle boards down to the marina and enjoyed taking them out on Lake Superior while watching a beautiful sunset. For dinner we cooked delicious burgers on the Traeger grill while our kids played in the game garage! It was a relaxing getaway and we can’t wait to come back!
