Island Horizons ~ Million Dollar View, 4 Bdrm w/ Pool & Solar

We absolutely loved our stay at Island Horizons! The Antares team was attentive and prompt in addressing any issues that arose. Amazing views, wonderful amenities and a supportive management team!

We had a great time at this villa the views were stunning. You absolutely need to rent a four-wheel-drive jeep to be able to access this property.

My family of four had a wonderful stay at Island Horizons. The house was very clean, well-stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. The bedrooms all have A/C but there is no A/C in the main living and kitchen areas. We did not find this to be a problem even during a pretty hot week in June, since the breezes are great. The house is on a pretty steep hill, like most places in St. John, so as most reviewers noted, you will need a Jeep or 4WD vehicle to access the property. But the view is incredible and worth the effort. A few good notes: the pool is great for smaller kids as there is a shallow end and a deep end (4 ft. max); also, the location of the house is good, the center of Coral bay is just down the hill (5 minutes, although not really walkable) and so there's a market and a few good restaurants/bars right there. It's only a 20 minute or so drive to most of the best north side beaches. Cruz bay is about 25-30 minutes, but mainly because of the windy roads. A few other things to note: there is a gas grill but it's seen better days, so we purchased those disposable aluminum pans to make it work. The second floor is also not accessible from inside the house, you have to use the outside (covered) staircase, which is a little different. Overall, we loved our trip to St. John and did some of the best snorkeling yet. We'd definitely stay at Island Horizons again!

Island horizons was the perfect vacation villa for our family of 7, our two adult children and their spouses, our 2 year old grandson, my husband and me. The views are incredible. The house is stocked with everything you could want for a beach vacation, coolers, chairs, floats, and sun shade. We have stayed at this property several times before and it is even more comfortable and beautiful than before. Antares staff always communicated clearly and were very helpful! The only thing I needed but couldn't find was a cutting board!

This was our first time on St John, and it was a wonderful experience! The house was perfect, & had everything we needed; kitchen supplies, beach supplies, games, books, toiletries, etc. The house is a short drive to numerous beautiful beaches, and just uphill from the market & a few restaurants and bars. The driveway was STEEP, but everything else on the island is, too!! Seriously don't attempt it without a 4WD vehicle. Our only hiccup was meeting our greeter; she had told us something different than what was in the email instructions, and with no cell service, there was some confusion. I REALLY appreciated the Antares Team reaching out to me before our trip, to give advice on rental cars, notification of cell service being sparse, and all the other tips and instructions they gave. It made our stay MUCH more enjoyable.

We loved Island Horizons ! Caroline was easy to work with and the house was ready for us. The views are amazing!! We had a small group, so being away from everything was ok. But if you like to be near restaurants (a few at the bottom of the hill, but closed most of the time and or very busy and turned away our orders which is understandable) or near shopping, this place is a little off the beaten path and will take about 25 minutes to get back into town but that's why we liked it :) You will need a jeep to get in and out of the house drive way. A car will not make it, especially if it's raining! The ac in the middle level bedrooms did not work well and in July it's tough. The breeze is good coming through at night though. I would stay again, maybe in the cooler months (December, January) less humid. The team was on top of a few concerns we had and that was appreciated. Loved it , will be back again !

We enjoyed our stay & the stunning view. The house was perfect for our needs—comfortable beds, multiple shaded lounge areas, a game room, pool & convenient to beaches. The Antares staff was most helpful in providing information & services. Thanks!

We experienced a spectacular week in paradise! Island Horizons was the perfect home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for more. We enjoyed our early morning coffee watching the sunrise from our third-floor deck, lazy afternoons swimming in the pool and cooking our meals in the fully equipped kitchen…great to use the grill too. Every room has a spectacular view of Coral Bay. Trunk Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever been to. Great to have beach chairs, coolers and quality towels all provided. Caroline, the property manager, was very helpful with recommendations for both restaurants and places to go. Our family would definitely stay here again!
