Stayed Aug 19, 2025Had a problem opening the door when checking in. Called for help and they responded right away. The manager came to location immediately. If truth be told, it was probably my error. The house was great and we had deer visitors in evening. Came in quiet and left that way too. Very comfortable.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025Fun, quirky place. It's plenty roomy; it's advertised as being able to sleep up to 7, but there is ample space for more than that to be comfortable and chill in the living area portion. Well stocked with ample number of towels, sheets, and kitchen stuff. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed Jul 13, 2025We are neighbors remodeling our house and we booked during flooring week so we could still be close and also have space to actually cook and sleep. We met the owners the week prior to our stay so we knew the trick to unlocking the front door, but still had a little trouble with the lock at check in. The property manager responded quickly and the rest of the week went smoothly. We loved having coffee or wine on the deck and watching the boats go by or picking out landmarks on the other side of Holmes Harbor. The craftsmanship that went into building the house is stunning. We also loved the book collection and all the beautifully crafted details inside. I did let the property manager know that i couldn’t find a skillet that wasn’t warped so had a little trouble with cooking, but that’s a quick & easy fix. Otherwise, the house was clean and comfortable.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025A friend and I stayed here, using the two upstairs bedrooms. There is no aural privacy: the bedroom walls are open at the top, so everyone can always hear everything. If you're traveling with a close friend, you're going to get to know them even better. It's worth it because the home is bright, beautiful, and in a quiet space in the trees. I have never been inside a dome home before. This was a neat space and we felt happy to experience it.

Stayed Jul 13, 2025Fun to stay in such a unique custom home. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings, watching the water in home Harbor. Dome homes have such a unique energy to them. We loved the art, the pottery, the amazing book collection. Proximity was a key for us, and the dome was in the perfect place for us.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025The stay was great! The house was beautiful, the view was also amazing. The only things i would change is maybe supplying more TP to guests, we ran out and had to go buy more (not really a big deal). But otherwise everything was good!

Stayed Jun 20, 2025We loved all the antiques, old media, and games available. We adored this property and would love to book another trip in the future! There was plenty of space for us to enjoy time together or be separate when needed. One of our favorite memories was watching the wildlife from the porch early in the morning.

Stayed Aug 18, 2024This is a very unique house, situated right off a main road and yet right in the middle of the woods. The main room of the house is very open with large windows looking out on the deck which looks out on the water. The kitchen and dining room are of very nice size and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. There is a definite nautical feel to the home. The house is built around the central staircase that starts at the unfinished basement, rises to the main floor and then to the upstairs where there are two bedrooms and the main bathroom and shower. There is a bunk bed and another double bed in the lowest level which I would have been reluctant to utilize. There was a treasure trove of games and puzzles. The main floor besides the kitchen, dining room and den also has a half bath and a small office area, and a washer and dryer. Large smart TV, books and more games. An area that really grew on us as during our stay. There are 13 stairs to the upstairs bedrooms. The double beds upstairs were very comfortable but due to the design of the house (geodesic dome) the ceilings arch in right over the bed. You need to be careful when reading in bed. This house will not be for everyone. My wife and I are in our 70's and our very young grandchildren would come and visit with us. The design of the house demanded that we keep extra close attention to them. When we were alone in the home we found it to be a really great place to be and would come back again.

Stayed Aug 15, 2024We loved this house. It is so cool. Everything was great, from the kitchen to the beds to the wonderful view of the water from almost everywhere in the house. Its proximity to Freeland stores and restaurants is great too. We had a great stay and wished we could have stayed longer! Thanks!
