This was our 2nd time staying at this property! We love it! Cottage is perfect for a small family and the beach is just amazing. We love this place and plan to stay again next year!

1950s-60s style cottage — a cottage, not a house. Perfect feeing. Excellent location right on the lake. Clean and comfortable — except for the sofa. Could use a more comfortable sofa, but sometimes sofa beds can be like that.

This adorable little spot was perfect for a cozy lakeside vacation. It's right on Crystal Lake with beautiful views, and it's really close to Lake Michigan and all the hiking and dunes in the area. We loved opening the bedroom windows to hear the sound of the water and sitting out on the pier/dock over the lake.

We had a relaxing weekend away. Read the listing and comments well, and you will go in aware of the pros and cons. For us it was a great hub for our M22 tour. The view is beautiful, and it was surprisingly quiet considering the proximity of the road.

It was almost as described. There is a strang layout, but it’s workable. We spent most of our time on the sand or in the lake. It was beautiful.

The beach access is awesome. The cabin keeps the rain off, and has 1 comfy bed and 1 old as dirt fold-out bed. It's fairly evenly distanced from both Beulah and Frankfort, which we saw as a positive. The bathroom is teeny, in all aspects of the word. The shower head is at ~5ft3in high, so anyone taller than that will need to bend or squat to rinse off. If you sit on the toilet, your knees will likely hit the wall in front of you. If you pee standing up, you'll likely need to turn sideways in front of the sink. The screen door in front pops out of its frame easily, and the screen door in back pops out of the track does not seal well at all, so prepare for mosquitoes. Since our visit in 2019, the couch has been replaced, but not the fold-out bed within. The screens have been replaced or patched, but the screen door problems are worse. I don't remember the fire pit, or actually, the bowl in the beach with a ring of rocks.
