This beautiful home is a rare find nestled on over an acre in the heart of Hummelstown Pa. Built in 1914 as a wedding gift to the Walton Family. The Hummelstown Brownstone Company closed in 1927, but this home was built and used to market the brownstone bricks from New York to Florida which many of the historic brownstone homes were created. Upon entering the front of the home, you will enjoy nine foot ceilings, pocket doors and original wood work. In the mornings enjoy coffee on the stone patio off the front room and watch the birds collecting berries from the trees. After a long day at Hershey Park or touring the battlefields at Gettysburg, enjoy the BBQ grill on the brownstone patio. Finish off the evening roasting marshmallows with the firepit and a cold beer.
This beautiful home boast hardwood floors throughout with five bedrooms and two and half baths. It is a historic home and the one full bath is located on the first floor, but will allow extra room for you to get ready and start your day exploring. On the second floor is an additional family room, perfect for the kids to watch a movie or play a game of cards.
One of our favorite features is close proximity to everything! Walking distance to shops and restaurants. We are minutes from Hershey Park, Hershey Medical Center, 30 min from Gettysburg and Lancaster. If you want to go to Baltimore for the day it is an easy drive. The location is perfect for day trips if you want to stay longer and take a few day trips.

Host was welcoming and came over on Christmas Eve day to help with the TV. The house is spacious, and beautiful with all of the wood built ins and beams. Several lights were missing light bulbs that worked. We had to ask for more silverware and glasses as there was not enough for the seven of us. The host did bring over extra silverware on Christmas Eve and dropped off a box of new glasses the day after Christmas. Even with the couple of missing things we had a wonderful time. The house is located close to a lot of amenities. We would come back again.

We were staying near Hershey to visit the zoo and some breweries in the area. This house has plenty of rooms for all the guests and plenty of space for lounging and hanging out. When we first pulled up, I thought it was not the right house because it looked so grand with the porch lights blazing. It seemed like a mini-mansion with a large driveway and fancy garden. Inside it was even more charming with secret passages and some antique accents and fixtures. A few of the rooms are a bit short on modern electric outlets but I loved the old fashioned light switches and radiators. When in the area again, I would love to stay here again!

Very interesting property with lots of doors and plenty of space. AC worked great (which for a house this big isn't always the case), the little covered patio room thing was also nice too. Perfect place to stay for our weekend going to Hershey Park.

Great location and HUGE house that accommodated my daughter, her boyfriend and her four children. Everyone had their own space. The Kitchen had everything it needed and the place was clean.

House was old, beautiful features. There were ample bedrooms to accommodate our family, however the main floor shower was very small, very small. Because of how old the house was, every floor and the 2nd floor shower creaked so much! Most of the t.v.s did not work during our stay, which was ok because we were not at the house often. Easy access to Hershey Park. Beautiful yard, washer dryer was great to have. I would stay there again.

Beautiful historic house! It was a lovely place to gather with friends. I would recommend upgrading or repairing the gas stoves and replacing twin matttress and beds for future guests. If you don’t mind lighting a gas stove with a match or squeaky springs

This property was perfect for our small family reunion (7 adults and a 3 year old). It is a lovely house (air conditioned!) with a number of spaces to read and talk and hang out both inside the house, on an enclosed porch and on outside porches. We were able to cook our meals and eat in the dining room, walk over to the local diner (***) and wander up the street to a terrific ice cream place. We played soccer and frisbee in the large side yard. We aren't into amusement parks and had a little kid but there are other interesting places nearby including the Hershey Chocolate Factory (yum!) and the Echo Dell Indian Echo Caverns (fascinating underground caves where it is 52 degrees all year round). We all agreed that we would recommend the Inn wholeheartedly.

Wonderful home, I owned and restored a home built in 1919 so it was like visiting an old friend staying at this magnificent place, the grounds are amazing, trees are grand and beautiful, birds chirping in the morning, fireflies dancing at dusk, I mean what else could you ask for. My 83 year old parents were with us and I was worried with the bedrooms being on the second floor but they handled it like champs! If you appreciate vintage architecture you will love this home. We will definitely stay here next time we’re in town.
