Note: Changes to Hawaii law Jun 2019 limit rentals to 31 days or more on Oahu's North shore (our monthly rate competitive to 8 days at a resort hotel).

From the moment you first enter our home, you can just feel a sense of relaxation settle through your body as you hear the warm sounds of waves hitting the beach just outside the front door. The house has been recently renovated, with a complete kitchen and decks, both upstairs and downstairs, that each have expansive views lookingout over the Pacific ocean all the way to Ka'ena Point at the northwest tip of Oahu. Upstairs we have two bedrooms, a bathroom, living room and wet bar. The floor downstairs has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room and full kitchen with all the appliances you might need. Just steps out the front door is one of the most secluded beaches you'll find on Oahu's north shore -- although be advised that you may have to share the beach with one or two of our local turtles. Talk about local knowledge.

The property is close to charming Haleiwa town, with its local shops and restaurants, Waimea bay, and Shark's cove. There are plenty of local activities in the area, but you may find it hard to leave the dazzling sunsets, uncrowded beaches and warm water in front of the
property. In spring, summer and fall we have great snorkeling just in front of the house, with abundant ocean wildlife on the reef. In January/February, the humpback whales can often be seen mating offshore.

As long time residents of Hawaii, we spent years looking for the perfect place on Oahu's north shore. This is it.

We prefer families and can accommodate up to 7. Find us at Kaleakai for specials. There is also a manager on site in the rare case any problems should arise. Sorry, no pets or smoking.

Come visit us and see what we mean by 'living aloha'.

The pictures, as great as they are, don’t do this house justice. They can’t capture the fact that you can SEE the Milky Way it’s so unpolluted with light. They can’t capture that the snorkeling out front is fantastic and that pods of dolphins and monk seals swim by. We absolutely loved our week here and we were sad to leave. Plenty of room for two families, like we had. The kitchen was fully equipped and the hosts were absolutely lovely. We shall return!

We had 2 families stay here and everyone had an amazing time! Our trip to Hawaii was 2 nights in Waikiki, 2 nights at an incredible resort in Ko Olina and 5 nights at this home and everyone agreed that we enjoyed our stay here the best and would spend all our time back here if ever given the chance again. The photos don't do the property and beach justice. A very comfortable place to stay and everything you need is just down the road, groceries, restaurants etc.. Aside from that, everything else you need is right here at the house; beach, sun, snorkling, turtles and more. The property manager was also very nice and helpful! Glad he was there. Thanks so much for sharing your house with us, we certainly hope to be back!

Couldn’t ask for a more perfect setting or vacay home. Kitchen extremely well-stocked with spices, pans etc. View is incredible and owners were VERY responsive and helpful. You’ll not be disappointed if you choose this property.

We loved staying at this beautiful home. The area was peaceful and low key and we basically had the beach to ourselves every day even though it was a holiday weekend. We went to nearby Waimea Bay (walked about a mile there to avoid the highway traffic, but could have driven) for a larger/more sandy beach. The hosts were super helpful and responsive. The caretaker who lives on the property was very kind and easily available by text, but we didn’t see him at all after we checked in, so the home still felt very private. The sunset views from the decks were amazing. Would highly recommend this property!

Rob and Fe shared their amazing North Shore property with our family of five for a great stay! The location is great and the house exceeded our expectations. We only used the bottom floor however there is plenty of room for a larger family or even two to spread out with two bedrooms, living area and second small kitchen in the lock off top floor. The views are spectacular and the quiet beach was perfect for relaxing and cooling off. The beach has some rocks but is accessible to walk in. Beware the currents though even when it looks calm they can sneak up on you! The house is well equipped with everything you need: modern appliances, grill, chairs, boogie boards, washer/dryer, A/C (we didn’t use thanks to the cool breezes) and even sun shades on the deck. Location makes it easy to drive up to the pipeline for food trucks and watching surfers or a drive south to Haleiwa for dinner or boat charters. Communication with Fe and Aron was easy and pleasant. Can’t wait to return!

The view as absolutely fantastic!!! We would sit on the lower porch and watch surfers while having breakfast. If we wanted a wider view, we could go to the balcony on the second floor to see further. Giant turtles on the shore almost every day. Our younger travelers stayed upstairs so they could make their own hours, while the rest of us stayed downstairs. The house has everything we could think of - Keurig machines, all kitchen things, spices, grill. A/C in each bedroom AND the downstairs living area meant that everyone could be comfortable at their preferred temperature. In addition, they generously allowed use of boogie boards, beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. Fe & Rob were perfect to work with - gave us all the information we could possibly want - excellent communication throughout the entire process. And it was an excellent value. We loved hearing the pounding of the surf as we drifted off to sleep each night. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this home.

We spent 4 nights here in late December 2018 and had a great time. What we liked: 1. Location - very close to nice beginner/intermediate surfing at Puenas and Chuns, and into town at Haleiwa. One thing to bear in mind about this part of Oahu is that the road can get trafficky in peak season (we are in full peak) and you have to avoid leaving at wrong time by car or you can get stuck in traffic. 2. Views - as pictures show you are right on the beach and look out over the surfers - very cool. 3. House itself - it's two units - one below and one above - they are both nice, but the upper one feels very airy and spacious as it has cathedral ceiling and opens onto deck with spectacular view. Lower one takes you to yard and then you step down to the beach. House is well-maintained and well-stocked but not fussy. Beds and linens were great. 4. Rob and Fe were easy to work with Would definitely go back.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this neat and clean beach- front house. We snorkeled right in front and found lots of sea glass. Fe and Rob are great owners and were extremely responsive to any question we had. It did get warm and AC will help in bedrooms. Thanks for a fantastic stay! The Allens from Texas
