Incredible family home with unsurpassed views

Everything was perfect

Very nice property with great view. Large home with plenty of space and bathrooms to accommodate everyone. Host was located in an adjacent property so was near if we needed anything. Home has laundry and everything needed for a short or long stay.

Our stay here was just fantastic and what we needed. Caroline was extremely helpful. The house was spotless and the kitchen was amazing.The pictures on VRBO website don't depict how magnificent the property and the area is. Thank you for the opportunity and we will definitely return again.

This beautiful holiday home on the top of a mountain brought us close to heaven in our stay in Castlebaldwin. There are so many amenities that it’s hard to name each. Suffice it to say all was 5 star from beginning to end.

Loved the house and views. Excellent facilities. One negative note was the fire. We managed to get it lit twice but we’re unable to keep it going more than 5 mins on each occasion. Needs looked at.

Lovely home with all the needed amenities for comfort. We were all impressed and well comfortable for a family Christmas. A big fancy Christmas tree and a large black and white Christmas pudding from the host added more colour for us.

This property is absolutely stunning! The views are wonderful all around the house. Caroline was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. This house had all amenities that you could think of and then some! List of brochures to help you decide where to explore. Extremely peaceful and serene.

I rarely give high praise, but this house truly earns it. Castlebaldwin is truly exceptional. Complete with top-of-the-line appliances and laundry facilities, the house offers everything you could ask for. You'll find a world of high comfort. High ceilings greet you as you enter the main part of the house, while the windows allow you to view the wonderful scenery. The house manager was very responsive and helpful when we needed it. The panoramic views of the countryside are truly stunning. It's incredibly serene, even just gazing out the windows. I only wish our stay could have been longer at Castlebaldwin. Having visited in 2018 and fallen in love with it then, returning was a no-brainer. I'm so glad we did. Castlebaldwin is a near-perfect sanctuary where one can unwind and reconnect. Hope others enjoy the house much like we did.

What a great house, everything you could want or need was supplyed. Check-in with Caroline was great, Caroline was very helpful and explained the workings of the house. Amazing living space and kitchen. Views to die for. One of the kids left their coat behind and when we got in touch with Caroline the next day, she found it and posted it on to us without any bother, many thanks Caroline Downside....Family bathroom door urgently needs a working lock. Heating is controlled remotely by host, wasn't on when we needed itin the evenings, although seemed to be on during the night. Bedroom's need updating, a little TLC. To conclude we all very much enjoyed our New Year break, we will be back.
