In-Town, Residential & Quiet, Walk to Shops, Ocean and Walk & Bike into Acadia!

The house is conveniently located and is a short walk to town. With 3 bedrooms it would comfortably fit a group of 4-5 people. The host also provides a lot of good material to help with planning hikes and activities in Acadia.

Mary and Kyle’s cottage was an excellent place to stay for my trip with my fiancé to Bar Harbor. The cottage was conveniently located at the edge of town allowing for an easy drive to many popular locations on the island within 10-15 mins, including Ocean Path or Jordan Pond. It was also a 5-10 minute walk to town. The cottage itself was quiet, clean, and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots and pans. Quick note: If you do plan to cook, buy some spices and oils before heading onto the island. Communication with Mary was quick, easy, and efficient. During our stay Mary was very helpful, especially when we were having trouble with the front door upon our arrival. Instructions for check in and check out were easy to follow. The cottage was an excellent place for us and if we are ever back in Acadia we hope to stay there again!

The host was excellent with communication. The property was clean and as described. The location was quiet and walkable. The farthest part of town was approximately a 20 min walk.

House is a little dated but clean. It was very quiet at night and we enjoyed sitting on the patio. Location was great.

Great distance from Bar Harbor downtown- we walked everywhere. Great location to Acadia. We were able to park easily and walk the trails. Residence was very clean and had all needed amenities. We appreciated having fans available for all rooms to stir the air.

Excellent location! Comfortable home in quiet area of Bar Harbor. Had the basics — a roll of TP, a roll of paper towels, dish soap, hand soap. Everything else you need to provide (Kleenex, bath soap, salt/pepper, sugar, etc) so plan accordingly. Communication with owner was great.

We enjoyed staying at your cute cottage. It was perfect! Location to the park and to dinner and drinks was AWESOME!

Everything was seamless and the host was attentive. We had no issues while we were there so no communication was required but the communication leading up was great.

A nice 2-story, 3 Bedroom home away from the busy commercial section of town. Only two of us so we stayed upstairs. Kitchen had everything we needed. And the living room was nice for relaxing in. The owners were clear about what the house had. There is only A/C down stairs. But in late spring weather, it was not an issue.We had one issue with the stove and it was literally corrected in 10 minutes. We would stay here again.

This home is in a great location if you’re looking to hike Acadia. Entrance is super close. The home is also walking distance to Bar Harbor shops and restaurants. House was very clean and cozy. Marie was an excellent host. I would recommend staying here!

Nice well appointed cottage within walking distance to bar harbor downtown and easy access to Acadia Park. Would stay here again for sure.

My mom and I had a great stay here. It was a nice and close to downtown and to Acadia. Thankful for a quiet cottage to stay at for our time in Bar Harbor!

Quiet cottage perfect for my husband and I’s working vacation! The wifi was fast enough we could work during the day, and location was so close to the park. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. We loved having the washer and drier available as well.
