Stayed Sep 21, 2025This is a wonderful property — clean, spacious and a convenient location. We could easily walk to the grocery store or into downtown Hill City to enjoy the restaurants. The house has two huge gathering areas: a spacious living room on the first floor and a magnificent, huge sunroom on the second floor. We enjoyed watching the turkeys from the sunroom. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed.

Stayed Sep 13, 2025Very nice property. Only criticism is the lack of dressers in the bedroom areas downstairs.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025The property was somewhat overgrown. When entering the house smelled musty as if it had been shut up for awhile.

Stayed Aug 16, 2025Just a few things we had trouble with. The refrigerator kept freezing the food, the stove was not easy to cook on and took a long time to cook the food, and no pots and pans with lids to fit. The people are very friendly and try hard to please you. There are a lot of stairs if you can't do stairs, you won't get in and hard to unload suit cases and groceries.

Stayed Jul 6, 2025This is our second stay at this location and it is still the best spot. Hill City has a lot to offer and is in the middle of everything to do in the Black Hills.

Stayed Sep 26, 2024This property is a great spot if looking for a central location to activities in the Black Hills. A group of us were out there for the Buffalo Roundup and Volksmarch at the Crazy Horse memorial. The 1880 Train is just below the property and enjoyed hearing the train pulling into the station. I recommend a round trip 1880 train ride which is a beautiful ride from Hill City to Keystone. This property was very roomy with enough of bedrooms and loft for the 4 of us in our group and 2 bathrooms, which was nice. Very nice kitchen with all the utensils with drip and KCup coffee makers. The living room area is comfortable and welcoming after a long day of activities and sight-seeing. The only negative I have for the property is a better job on dusting underneath furniture and ceiling fans in the upper bedrooms needed a cleaning. They were caked with dust. Aside from this, over-all a great place which I would recommend.
