Beautifully updated home in the perfect location for exploring the Black Hills and Hill City! Walk downtown or hop on the 110 mile Mickelson trail system just a few blocks from the house! You will be delighted by the clean, bright open space and low cleaning fee!

With a modern kitchen, two queen bedrooms and two bathrooms, this vacation home is perfect for a family or two couples that want to enjoy all that the Black Hills have to offer and relax and enjoy the evenings.

This home boasts an additional bonus area with futon, washer and dryer, two sitting areas and a large back deck with gas grill.

The Villa is located just up the hill from the 1880 steam train depot and museum. You can wave at the tourists on the train as it rolls into the station but rest assured, the train won’t wake you from your slumber. It only runs a few times a day and is barely heard from inside the house! It’s sure to be a highlight of your stay!

The Villa is not a good fit for large groups or anyone traveling with a big rig (off street parking is required by the city-please inquire before booking if you have a camper, trailer, etc.).

This rental is for the entire main floor of the home. A basement with completely separate entrance is not included in this rental and is reserved for use by owners.

    It was very clean, quiet neighborhood and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. The host was very responsive when needed. We enjoyed the outside deck and the ability to walk into town. It's also close to the Michelson Bike trail which we took advantage of. We had a wonderful time!!!

    It was a lovely home with plenty of room and everything we needed for our group. It’s just a short walk to the main street with lots of cute stores. As a bonus we had daily visits of deer, wild turkeys and a neighborhood cat.

    House was immaculately clean; with ample parking for our two vehicles. The kitchen was open, bright and honestly the best stocked we’ve ever experienced! Fabulous location in central hills served as an excellent “base” allowing to visit SD sites in northern and southern hills!

    Great location with a beautiful view, close to 1880 train, Crazy Horse Memorial, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, etc. There is a grocery store and many restaurants within 1/2 mile of the property. Will stay there again when we visit the Black Hills next.

    This was the perfect house for our family. It was an easy walk to the downtown Hill City shops, restaurants, and the 1880 train. It was also centrally located which made visiting Custer State Park and Mount Rushmore a breeze. We will definitely be back.

    The property was amazing. Clean, spacious and a great view. Super close to downtown and walking distance to stores and restaurants. We also had deer every night up in the yard. Beds were amazing slept better here than at my own home. Kids loved playing games on the deck and watching the old train! Perfectly in the middle of the black hills, great jumping point for anything in the area. Will be back!

    The property was very well appointed and met all of our needs. The location is ideal for the purposes of our trip, which included hiking and biking. The property is located away from the main streets, so is nice and quiet, but is within easy walking distance of restaurants and other attractions in Hill City.

    This property is well situated if you're looking to explore Hill City, Keystone, Custer or anything in between. It has great views from a large deck. We had everything we needed and then some. Owner is very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend staying here!

    Loved the wonderful house, nice deck, enjoyed the train and we even had dear come into the yard daily. The town is fun to walk through and walkable from the house. perfect place to be that is a short drive to great things to see.

    We LOVED this property. I would absolutely stay here again. It was immaculately clean, beds and couches were super comfy, kitchen was very well stocked and there were more than enough sheets and towels. I also appreciated a great stock of smaller items that are hard to fly with(shampoo, body wash, coffee/tea/creamers, kleenex, and on and on). The location was perfect. It was central to Custer State Park, Rapid City, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and then about 90 minutes to Badlands(but all highway so easy). The Mickelson trail(100 mile gravel trail) is a 3 minute walk from the house. One day while walking we saw deer and about 12 elk! There is also a fairly large back yard for kids to play. The owner was incredibly helpful answering all of my pre travel questions and making the trip much easier. If you are deciding between a few properties, pick this one! You won't be disappointed.
