In the Heart of Historic Downtown on Market Street

Room was clean and beautifully decorated. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. The outside could use some sprucing up, but the inside was excellent.

Terri and Carl were very pleasant to deal with; responsive and informative. Use of their parking card was a great help. The apartment was in an ideal location in the center of the old town, close to restaurants and shopping. We would stay there again.

Very nice apartment in a great location for exploring Charleston. Great to have many restaurants and historic sites within easy walking distance. The apartment is nicely furnished and well maintained.

There were a lot of little things that made it convenient. My husband used back screened in porch every day, a wide selection of Kerrigan coffee tea and creamers, plent of bathroom wash cloths and towels, ample storage for cloths, instructions for tv and thermostat.

Very nice studio suite just above the City Market. Very convenient for walking the historic area, easy access to the east bay waterfront, many good restaurant options, shopping at the City Market. Parking garage provided was also a nice adder. The suite was clean, neat, well provided, and well decorated. The little back balcony was just ok, but better than nothing.

Great location overlooking Market Street. Everything was in walking distance. The room was adorable and very comfortable. The owners stayed in touch up to check in and there was no issue checking in or out. When we visit Charleston again, we will definitely try to reserve this room.

We did like the privacy setting and not being in a hotel/motel. The property location is excellent. The only thing missing is a stove, all it would need is a 2 burner appliance. We enjoyed not to have to go out for breakfast, but for a longer stay I think I would like to be able to have more options.

This property was perfect for what I needed. I was traveling alone to visit my daughter in Charleston and this place was perfect. It was charming, clean, had everything I'd need and the location couldn't be beaten. The location is right on market street, so it was easy to walk to anything I needed. . I would definitely stay here again either alone or with my husband

This studio was perfect for my stay in Charleston. I was traveling alone and the apartment was conveniently located near everything I needed to do, I could walk to restaurants, my workshop, waterfront park, and the Harris teeter grocery store. I felt very safe here.

You won't find a better location in Charleston if you want to be right downtown. Literally across the street from the market. The place was cute, the bed was comfy, and we had all the amenities we needed. An issue with the internet was promptly resolved. I would love to stay here if we visit Charleston again. I loved that there restaurants just a few doors away on both sides of us.Note for light sleepers - this unit is in a business district so there are bright street lights outside the window and sometimes there are city workers getting things done when there are no people around.

It was very cool to stay right across from The Market and the property is so old and interesting, but very updated.

The place was perfect for our needs and so close to everything downtown Charleston! It was decorated beautifully! We would stay again if in the area.

The room was excellent. It was right in the heart of everywhere we wanted to be. It was a great location and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Our host and management company were very prompt to respond to any inquiries we had and we’re just a pleasure to deal with overall it was a great time.

This was the perfect location! Right across the street from the Market. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping. We loved this stay and if we end back in Charleston would for sure rent it again!

This place is perfect if you're trying to be right in the heart of downtown and within walking distance of pretty much anything you want or need! Stepping out the front door, there's a Life Is Good shop to your left and a Black Dog shop to your right. Go a few more doors down, and you have sweets, clothing, ghost tours, the Charleston City Market, the best prime rib my husband has ever eaten (at TBONZ), a fantastic Turkish shop with the kindest shopkeepers we've met, and a One Of A Kind souvenir shop with some truly unique and fun pieces.The room itself is comfortable and well-equipped - I was honestly a little surprised to even find a dehumidifier in one of the cabinets! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage for our items. We definitely want to come back here in the future!

The apartment was quaint and as described in heart of downtown. Location was perfect. We did have some issues with check in that the property manager did try her best to resolve. Since this property manager had just taken over the rental, It believe it was a glitch and will not happen again in the future.

Location was great, given the parking challenges downtown. Could walk to most things. In&out parking was a plus. Really nice room and bath. You have to be able to do stairs and not mind street noise at night and bright street lights that slightly bleed thru the blinds.

Great location and walkable to market and restaurants surrounding the area. We did the Gray Line City tour of the city and learned so much. The bed was comfy and enjoyed the kitchenette for our tea and coffee in the morning and evening. Felt very safe in our area. It’s hidden so follow the directions on the location. I suggest having someone wait by car when unloading when you first arrive to get the parking card rather than trying to pay to park on street. No complaints on room. They were very accommodating.

This location is fantastic, making it incredibly easy to walk everywhere in the city. We spent a week in historic Charleston, and our 96 Market St studio apt was perfect! Right across the street from the City Market, and within walking distance of EVERYTHING this district has to offer. There's a small, but very convenient kitchenette in the room with microwave, sink, med size fridge, counter space, a few dishes, silverware, mugs for coffee,and a little table w 2 chairs to enjoy meals in the room together. Windows look right out on Market St. It really is a fantastic location.

Location was perfect right on N Market St. Hosts were accomodating and let us store our luggage before and after check in and check out. Suite had everything you'd need.

The location was absolutely fabulous. The room had humidifiers and smelled of mildew. I would also give it 2 to 3 stars for cleanliness. The owners were responsive, however I would not stay here again.

Our stay at Terri and Carlos’s property was fantastic. They were both very communicative and hospitable. The home was exceptionally well located. Right next to the city market, surrounded by great restaurants, shops places to grab tasty snack. As a bonus there is a Target just a few blocks down the street along spectacular King Street shopping District. Charlestown itself is spectacular and Carlos and Terri recommended some wonderful ways to engage with the city, it’s history and it’s culture.

Fantastic location! The suite was very nice and clean. Communication with Terri and Carl was excellent, always available and responding quickly to our questions.

Studio was right at the market, very convenient to all shops and restaurants. Short walk to the battery. Studio was really clean. Clean soft sheets and big towels. You do have to go up a flight of stairs. Enjoyed our stay.

Location is central to the places we wanted to visit. It was cute. I was frustrated by the very poor WiFi and the street lighting that the shutters did not adequately block out. Those were my two pet peeves.

I came here with my Mom who is about to turn 70. It is in a great location by the market. There is a long stairway up to the room, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Loved the shower floor texture and the code locks. Had a great stay!

The room was very nice and comfortable. The location was perfect for walking to the main areas. The market area was across the street from the room that we stayed in. The owners provided us with everything that we needed. I would highly recommend this property for rental.

Our stay in Charleston was very nice. The convenience of being downtown made visiting Charleston very pleasant. We walked to all the places we wanted to visit except the plantations.

Super location; did not need our car; plenty of hot water/comfortable bed/clean linens. Overall review is very positive. Negatives: steps up to the unit are a little hard for older folks to navigate; we wound up paying twice for parking on the Cumberland St. ramp (left money in unit per instructions and also had same amount deducted from credit card on file).

A charming suite with everything a guest can ask for. The location is perfect for walking to explore Charleston.

Beautiful studio in great location. Studio was very clean and comfortable. The kitchenette made it convenient to refrigerate and heat up leftovers. On our last day we got stuck in an unusal snow weather event which closed most places down. The studio was very cozy so we didnt didn't mind. Really cute efficiency in the middle of where it’s all happening in Charleston. Walking distance to the college, too many restaurants to count and more shopping than any husband can endure.

When our dates came to visit, there was a storm and possible flooding. The host was gracious enough to let us adjust our arrival and departure dates. The parking garage worked great and we had a wonderful time with lots to see and do right in the area! Highly recommend this property!
