Our family had the best experience in Nantucket. The home was so welcoming, it really set the tone for the trip. We enjoyed wonderful time through the island and were always excited to return to home which is so conducive to family or friends spending quality time together. We loved the home, so well-appointed with each room having such unique charm. We really enjoyed spending time on the patio, dining, playing games and enjoying the garden, perfect serenity. The property location was perfect, near town and within a short walk to the most lovely beach. Our host, Amy, was outstanding in every way, so accommodating and kind. She even reached out after our stay regarding a few items left at her home that ensured were shipped and returned to us. I can't speak more highly of the experience. We can't wait to return! This was the perfect getaway spot. We were a group of ladies celebrating a big birthday. The birthday girl requested cozy and this was it! Even though the house was cozy w3e had a ton of room for all of us. The kitchen was a nice size for all to gather around the island and was well equipped. The living room had room for everyone around the fireplace where we played a few games and enjoyed the cozy fire. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms upstairs it was plenty of room for everyone. The beds were very comfy as well. The location was perfect for a short walk into town. We walked everywhere including the beach which was very close by. Overall a great couple of days in Nantucket!

We thoroughly enjoyed this place. The living spaces are perfect and the kitchen is comfortable and well-equipped. The house is immaculate. It’s close to town so everything is walkable, but there’s some traffic noise that comes with being in .

Awesome location, amenities (we loved the bikes/beach towels/chairs). Kitchen and grill are a perfect touch. Would highly recommend! Amy was super communicative/prompt and kind. So close to town (short walk or bike ride), right near the restaurants/shopping and not far from the beach!

Terrific house, beautifully appointed in nautical/ Nantucket themes. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. All on suite baths which was wonderful. Bikes available and this made a huge difference as Nantucket is a very bikeable island. Also free Wave bus was a plus and stops are close to house.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Spirit of 76. Amy is a kind and thoughtful host with a beautiful home that truly has everything you could ever need - a close walk to town, nearby beach that’s perfect for kids, a sweet little back patio with a large table for family dining - truly the perfect place for a family vacation. We had a blast!

Amy is a wonderful host and the property is perfect for groups. The home layout is conducive to socializing and the furniture is comfortable for poor weather days when you need to stay inside. You might need a white noise App if you are a light sleeper because the roadside bedrooms can hear the large trucks that come by during the day (starting around 7:30 am). That is an easy solution and worth having proximity to town. Overall, we loved the property and highly recommend it. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

The Spirit of ‘76 house is a stunningly gorgeous property, and the perfect spot for our weekend on Nantucket. We comfortably fit our group of five, and we easily could have added more with the amount of space and amenities available to us. We loved that it was a short 10 minute stroll into town, and we took advantage of the bikes in the shed for some sightseeing. Our host Amy was a delight and communicated quickly up to and during our stay. We are already planning to return next summer for another weekend. Thank you!
