Il Paese dei Campanelli, a chill-out corner in the heart of Versilia

We have stayed with Federico and Michela in the past as well. They are the warmest and most gracious hosts that we have experienced on VRBO. Their apartment is wonderful to stay at, great location for the beach, train station, grocery and restaurants. We have come to Viareggio before and this trip for the Carnival Parades.

Our host was wonderful in every way. Federico was kind and helpful throughout our stay. We loved Viareggio, the restaurants, shops, and especially the beach.

A beautiful house in a lovely street, ten minutes walk to the beach and two minutes to the grocery shop. The house itself is very well laid out and fully equipped with everything you need. It is modern but with lots of lovely traditional Italian furniture. It is very comfortable and we really enjoyed the outside courtyard. The hosts were wonderful! Federico responded to any queries very quickly and they were both just lovely people. Great market on a Thursday, lovely shops, cafes and restaurants all along the main promenade at the beach! I would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you Federico and Michela we really enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at Frederico and Michela's apartment was better than great. The apartment is attached to their home, but quarters are private. The walls of this 1920s home are 12 thick, so is very quiet. There is a private courtyard with stone grill and clothes washer off of the kitchen. Very new, modern kitchen and baths. Antique woodwork and chiffarobes. Close to train station,restaurants, wooded park, grocery with hot foods counter. Hosts very helpful with ideas when requested. Perfect spot for Carnevale!

Flat was very comfortable and well equiped. The location was perfect closed to a big parc with game for children ,close to the beach and shops. On top of thanks to our host for his kindness and all his good advice.

Federico’s place was exactly as described, if not even better. It is located on a beautiful street (15 minutes walk from the train station and very close to the beach). The kitchen was very well equipped, enabling us to enjoy a few home cooked meals. Spacious and clean bathroom and lovely airy lounge with satellite tv( Disney, Netflix etc). Federico was an excellent host who went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. I would thoroughly recommend federico’s place to anybody wanting to spend time in lovely Viareggio

Amazing stay in Viareggio. Close to the beach and supermarket. Flat was clean and newly renovated. Air conditioning in the main room. Will definitely come back. Thank you to our hosts!

We had amazing holidays at this property. Hosts were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The property is beautiful and in excellent location. Food store is two minutes round the corner and shady park with lots of entertainment for the kids at the doorstep. I would strongly recommend this property for the holiday

The hosts are amazing! Their hospitality and kindness were so helpful. They had costumes ready for us to wear to the carnivale, they helped us out in a pinch with the train strike. The location is perfect, apt is lovely - much larger than we imagined and recently updated. All the amenities are there to make you very comfortable.

We (a family of four) enjoyed our time in the apartment very much. Best thing was, how much support we got from from Michaela and Frederico. Whatever question/request we had, we got always help. And when we arrived the kitchen was equipped already with basic things like olive oil, coffee and so on. The beach and shopping facilities are very close. The next supermarket is less than 5min walk. All in all we highly recommend the apartment.
