Stayed Sep 4, 2024We were very happy to have found this property. The setting, while actually quite close to all the amenities of Falun, feels private and secluded. It was so nice to be able to look out onto the beautiful lake. Anna greeted us in a friendly manner when we arrived, and showed us everything we needed to see, and explained everything we needed to know. The bed was comfortable, the house is well equipped, and we settled in quickly to our safe and cozy temporary home. We especially appreciated the modern kitchen, and the use of a new washing machine. The host, Kerstin, was easy to work with, and available when needed. We have carried home wonderful memories of our stay in Sweden. Thank you, Kerstin and Anna!

Stayed Sep 2, 2023The site is great,also the options to hike are perfect.the included sauna and boat provide you with a perfect opportunity to safe the day if it us raining. The house was not in a perfectly clean condition at arrival. In general,we can highly recommend the site

Stayed Jun 10, 2023We stayed a week at the house at the lakeside. Modern, all the equipment the heart desires (sauna, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, satellite tv, rowing boat, grill, garden furniture under the trees and next to the lake, etc.). The lake is quite shallow, with water lilies and reed. Excellent for fishing, mainly perch, many of them small, but there are also bigger specimen in it. An excellent spot for birdwatchers, too.

Stayed Mar 20, 2020Lovely to stay at Kerstin's place. 10 minute drive to town for groceries or entertainment, but the house itself has all amenities to stay without want for a long time. We were there with our 2.5 year old, and there were enough toys to keep her entertained that we needn't have brought any of our own. We cooked all our meals. The kitchen was nicely updated. Sharp knives too! The fireplace in the living room nicely heated the room.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had an amazing stay in Falun. The house is beautiful and well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Short, easy drive into downtown and convenient location for site seeing and skiing and running. Hope to be back sometime soon!
