Stayed Jul 18, 2021This property's cleanliness was not up to the expectation of other properties that we have rented from VBRO. When we rented this property we were told that it had a pool. Two days before we were to arrive we were told that there wasn't a pool as they ran into issues with some city regulations . Would have been nice to know this a little more in advance as the property owner had known for awhile as the hole had not been dug. Upon arrival we were told the gym would be used by a local coach for basketball lessons 3 days a week .Surprise we were there 4 days and the coach had lessons everyday except Sunday. By Wednesday I learned that before planning the days events for us I should contact the owner to see what events he had planned for the property that day. While staying at this property there was someone coming and going every day. It never really felt like we had the property to ourselves. This is something that we enjoyed when we stayed at other properties from VBRO. The late notice of no pool , the lack of privacy, the garbage receptacles being full when we arrived, and the garage being full of refrigerators and other household items that were not being used disappointed us

Stayed Jun 30, 2021The place has a lot of stuff to do for large families. Place could use some updates but talking to Jody, many plans for that in the near future.

Stayed Jun 7, 2021The property had plenty of room for our extended family. The home was reasonably clean and it was in a good location. At the time of our stay, the pool was not open but we found plenty to do in the Des Moines metro area.
