Huge Charlotte Farmhouse Villa 25 minutes from downtown!

We stayed here with 3 families (all with children) and it was a great space. The yard is great and we loved the proximity to Charlotte activities; we visited Carowinds, the US National Whitewater Center, and Discovery Place.

My husband and I had our wedding reception on this property and it was everything I dreamed of. We also rented the house next door and were able to have a perfect flow from ceremony to cocktail hour and reception. The house was beautiful and had plenty of room for our family and a couple friends to stay with us. I was able to comfortably get ready with my girls in the stunning bathroom upstairs. The backyard was the perfect size and is soooo magical at night. I cannot recommend this stay enough! We will most definitely be back.

First off, I'll just say this place was great for us. My now wife and I booked it to host our wedding. Lots of space, everything looked great, everything seemed well maintained. We booked for thursday through monday so we'd have time to set up and clean on either side of the wedding on Saturday. The place has nice simple decor that is easy to add to and put your own spin on for events. Lots of space, plenty of comfortable sleeping for the family and friends that stayed with us. We rented chairs from the host that we used for the ceremony. We had a smaller wedding (a little over 40 people) out on the well cared for and quite large lawn. The covered driveway area was fantastic for the reception. We had 6 66 round tables a small sweetheart table, 2 large buffet tables (from the venue), and some other stuff under or directly next to the covered area and still had room for dancing. We had some string lights not working the first night and some of the outdoor furniture we wanted out was locked away but the host came by and took care of it. Really no issues. When we toured the property we saw the cleaning crew in action and based on that and the state of the property when we arrived i can say they are good and thorough. The lasting takeaway from this experience was that this place worked very, very well for what we wanted. Great location and amenities were as described. Great event location --my extended family gathered for Thanksgiving dinner. Plenty of parking and space for outdoor activities. The fire pit and basket ball court were popular.
