Make sure to check pass reports(and they can change while you are en route) and print out the directions before you leave.

INTERNET POLICY..PLEASE NOTE:
**We strive to provide the best internet service we can get here in the very rural Methow Valley. Internet speeds vary throughout the valley and outages or tech issues can occur that we have no control over, and for these reasons NO REFUNDS are given if the internet is problematic. We also do not guarantee that the internet will meet your work/school needs. Should you have an issue with internet service, please send us a message through VRBO describing the problem. We will then contact you to troubleshoot. If the issue is not resolved, we will then contact the internet provider, and/or homeowner. Please note... our valley is very rural and getting service personnel to fix things in a timely manner can be a challenge. We rent lodging, not office space.
Public internet is available at the Winthrop library with enhanced internet speed (parking lot or inside the library). Alternatively, for a fee you can go to the Dropzone in downtown Winthrop. Thank you for your understanding!
IMPORTANT WINTER INFORMATION :
**Should you travel to the Methow during the winter months it is important to understand that you must be prepared for winter driving(keep chains, shovel...in the car) and all the inconveniences it causes you and the community you are visiting. The weather can be extreme with large snowfalls, unexpected technical issues, frozen pipes, impassable roads/driveways). If it snows while here you will have to wait for plow service just like every other person in the valley. There are a limited number of plow companies and Methow Reservations nor the owners of the house are in control of the plow company schedules. They have many different contracts and many miles of roads, driveways...to plow. If a plow person or a snow shoveler shows up to clear any area around the house, please do not argue with them or turn them away. Move your vehicles if asked. Your cooperation and patience are required especially after any significant snow accumulation. Should you get stuck you can call Classic Towing in Twisp, WA
**Propane Fireplace--should there be tech issues or the propane fireplace upon your arrival please send a message through Airbnb. Methow Reservations and the owner will try to troubleshoot and remedy the problem. If the problem requires a part or there is an issue with the propane company that may take longer that your stay, NO REFUNDS will be given.
We had a great time. We came up for the weekend to do some fall larch hikes and this was a great home base. Easy to find. My 5 year old loved the small playground. It was nice to walk around the property before dinner. We would love to stay again in warm weather to use the pool!
Cabin was clean and the location was peaceful.
The cabin is walking distance to the MCT and is quite cozy and comfortable. The hot tub and ping pong in the communal area are bonuses.
The cabin was great for all of us including the dogs. We had so much fun on the river during the day and at the cabin in the evenings. Great spot to stay when in the Methow Valley.
We had a wonderful stay at Kyrie and Kathleen's cabin for a few days or relaxing, hiking, biking and exploring the beautiful Winthrop area. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated the trail maps and the guide book for tips where to eat. The location is quiet, private and just a great place to soak in the outdoors on the front porch. Our kids enjoyed the pool even though the hours were a little short, still a great amenity. The ping pong table, playground and biking trails near by allow for lots of activities without getting into the car. We biked from Winthrop to the cabin so it's a perfect location. Also the main road that the resort is on turns into a mountain biking trail. Overall just a perfect place for a family.
Definitely five stars for charm! Sits in the trees with trails to the river and privacy from neighboring cabins. Four stars for function, with a dining table too short (or chairs too tall?) and a teeny tiny shower. Overall a nice visit.
We enjoyed this cabin while in Winthrop for fall hiking with our dog. IT was quite comfortable and easy to use with a nice gas fireplace that warmed us up and air purifiers as well. There is bed space for 7 though I would hesitate to pack it with 7 adults. Perhaps a family with kids or in summer when much time is spent outside. The Wolf Ridge area was lovely and we were surrounded by aspen. Two thumbs up.
Couldn't have asked for a better spot for a weekend getaway
