House with spectacular sea views in the historic centre of Begur

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful town in a beautiful country. One cannot ask for a better view in all of Begur. Thanks, Benjamin, for making our stay perfect.

We stayed here for four weeks as part of a three month trip. This was the only apartment we rented which turned out to be even better than what you see on line. The views are truly breathtaking and since we were there for an extended time, we appreciated how the light changed during the day and how sometimes we would get the bonus of also seeing the snow capped Pyrennes. The weather was too cool for the terrace, but that didn't matter as the view is superb from the dining room and anywhere you sit in the living room. Benjamin was the most attentive, generous and considerate host we've ever met. We still can't believe he met us at the edge of town to help us find the place, came over the next morning with pastries and generously answered all our questions about the area, gave us a variety of tasty treats and even stopped by to warn us of weather changes or to check with us on when to do the weekly cleaning. He also gave us a phone to use to call him in case of any problems. We had a defective microwave and he responded quickly with a replacement. He has lived in the USA, so communication was a breeze and the whole transaction went smoothly. We'd give him a 10 star rating if we could. We loved having a garage, but be forewarned backing in is a bit tricky and we were happy we had a small car. We were in Begur off season and enjoyed having costa brava all to ourselves. There were plenty of restaurants open (we recommend Tapas of Begur, Turandot and Platillos) and Begur was in a great location to explore the region. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Begur and thank Benjamin and Monica for their generosity and kindness towards us.

The property was well managed the owner has excelllent English and is very helpful. There is everything,including a washer/dryer for a comfortable stay. The transaction was quick,easy and flawless. Parking and an onsite garage,important during the busy season. Ideally located on Begur's hill, a stroll to the castle at the top of the hill, and the medieval town. Easy driving to Girona, Cadaques and the coast. The view from the terrace is so spectacular it's a shame to leave it for the nice local restaurants!

The house is in the best position for views of the coast line,and for access to the town (5 min walk).Benjamin,and Monica are a perfect couple to deal with. It is a very modern house with every thing you would need for a perfect stay.I can not rate this accommodation highly enough

The apartment was very clean, quiet, comfortable, well-equipped, and ideally located within a few minutes walk to the town center and with a marvelous view spreading over the surrounding town all the way to the sea. Our host was gracious and very helpful. He gave us wonderful welcoming gifts of wine, coffee, and other well-appreciated items. He even brought us bread and croissants the morning after our arrival and was quick to arrive and help when we had a question about the Wi-Fi. He provided us with maps, restaurant listings, suggested driving tours. The town of Begur was marvelous with many wonderful restaurants, beautiful beaches and easy access to fascinating medieval surrounding towns. We would recommend this property to friends and family.

Amazing place. It is really as in the photos, in fact even better. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and if by chance you think of anything that is missing, then Benjamin will find a way to solve the problem / we needed an umbrella for the beach /. A view from the windows and the balcony is breathtaking. The apartment is close to the center of Begur with its streets full of atmosphere, shops and cozy restaurants. It is also very close to the castle. Monica and Benjamin are extremely friendly and helpful. Since it was our first time in Costa Brava, their recommendations were very useful for us. In a nutshell, we have fallen in love with this place. We are planning to come back next summer.
