By the customs road you are on foot 10 minutes from the walled city and the city center by the small ferry. The necessary shops are 5 minutes walk as well as the beach and the municipal swimming pool. The thalassotherapy center in town.

Stayed Jun 7, 2025Loved it! The house has everything you need. Well appointed kitchen. Washer and dryer are a huge plus. The terraces are so lovely. We were there two weeks and it wasn't enough! Hosts live nearby and are very helpful, but never invade your privacy. And as a plus, electric shutters everywhere!

Michel and his wife are extremely nice and helpful - they evening suggested some good things to do when the weather was bad. We can definitely recommend this house- many thanks, we will definitely come back.

Stayed May 25, 2019This house was beautifully furnished to a high standard and well equipped for all our needs. A ten minute walk along the coastal path takes you to a small ferry across to the walled town of Concarneau. The house owners were very friendly and offered suggestions for visits. While living in the next door property the owners were very respectful of our privacy.

Stayed Jul 7, 2018We stayed here für two weeks in July and had very pleasant and satisfying holidays. The house ist lovely, everything new and designed with a lot of taste - just as described! We lived in the house with six persons and were completely satisfied with the equipment (Kitchen, garden furniture, bathrooms etc.) It was perfectly clean and tidy. We also enjoyed the three terraces so you could decide whether to enjoy the sun or to avoid it when it got too hot. The town of Concarneau is definitely worth the travel and gives you many opportunities to enjoy the south of Brittany. The house is situated very near the scenic and vital Harbour and very close to the old town of Concarneau. It´s a very calm place without any traffic and other disturbances. We often took a short coastal path and the little ferryboat to go there and enjoyed it. The hosts M. and Mr. Carval were really lovely! They explained us everything we needed to know in a very friendly way and gave us many tips which helped us planning our excursions. We highly recommend the location and the Carvals - thank you very much!
