It is hard to imagine a better place in which to spend time in this lovely area of France. Christine and Guillaume's house is a delight, being very idiosyncratic with an eclectic collection of articles and art work reflecting the couple's love of the sea and travelling. Being situated at the harbour mouth every window affords wonderful views of the constant marine traffic, out to sea and across to the Ville Close. A short walk takes one to the foot ferry which takes 2 minutes to whisk one across to the Ville Close and thence the town centre.Christine gave us a very warm welcome and was able to give us suggestions for outings and dining. When we bade a fond farewell at the end of our stay, she was able to answer the many questions that had formed in our minds about the marine traffic. We would love to return one day.

Awesome rooms, perfectly equipped and a very nice terrace. Perfect in all weather conditions - we even enjoyed watching a (very sudden) freak storm hitting the harbour and the house. Location is also very nice. Directly at the sea, but the 3-minute (tiny) ferry to the old Ville Close (little old town island) means its very close to the center of Concarneau. Last but not least, Christine is a perfect and very caring host.
