Stayed Aug 13, 2022Lovely setting with large, rambling gardens over many levels. Great swimming pool with lots of sun loungers. The kitchen was very well equipped. The only negative is that house is split over many levels, with lots of staircases and we didn’t get this impression from the website.

Stayed Jun 13, 2022We (a party of six adults and four children) had a fantastic stay. The newly renovated kitchen was a big plus! All amenities you could possibly need were included, the generous amount of free towels and bed linen were much appreciated as well. The pool area was well kept and the host as well as local contacts were very friendly and efficient. If you’re a nervous driver, brace yourself for the drive though the adjacent village, as well as the bumpy driveway to the house. It’s not very easy to find the house for the first time, but the remote location (that’s still close to many attractions) is a blessing as well! We highly recommend this place, many thanks for a wonderful stay!

Stayed Jul 13, 2019We really enjoyed our stay. The house is a beautiful old Mas located in the country side with a view of Lasalle and a huge garden with terraces leading down to the river. 10 minutes walk from the house is a wonderful rocky deep pool where you can dive and swim - a second natural swimming pool to compliment the excellent pool next to the house. Even though the house is in the countryside, Lasalle is only 15 minutes walk from the house and has a supermarche as well as thriving market once a week. Its a sleepy village - not spoilt by too many tourists with a lovely quiet square. We spent our whole week swimming in the many wild swimming spots in the rivers and gorges not to far by car from the house. Would recommend it for any family holiday - we were 10 - 5 adults and 5 adolescents. There are 3 bedrooms in the main house as well as a separate building which has an additional 3 bedrooms and 2 sofa beds - this meant we could all spread out and it didn't feel we were on top of each other at all. Stayed Aug 25, 2018We visited the house as two families, 4 adults and 6 children between 15 - 22 years old. Had a wonderful time. We stayed in the two houses, and thoroughly enjoyed swims, walks, bbqs and dinners as the sun went down! The area is lovely, albeit you have to drive quite long distances to visit locations. But we found some great swimming rivers (a little more information on this at the house would have been appreciated) and good walks. The local town was well supplied with boulangerie and other shops, with a good market on Mondays. In total - a great place to stay and Paolo looked after us well.
