Stayed Jul 23, 2022Beautiful character property situated outside the village and so a short drive to the local bakery shops and about a 5 minute drive from a large Carrefour. the property is approximately 20 minutes from the beaches of Biarritz, with a fantastic swimming pool, which also has an outside shower. We brought inflatables with us so that and the table tennis provided a lot of fun. Owner communicates quickly by email with good English. We were required to sign a contract, that I have never been asked to do before, but it was all smooth. Usually a cheque is required on arrival whereas we agreed cash and this was promptly returned on the morning of departure. I only gave a 4 for the checkin process as a neighbour/friend greeted us who spoke no more English than we did French and when I called her on arrival, we weren't sure she had understood us. We all muddled through , although we weren't aware of the robot that cleans the pool daily- thankfully the owner responded very quickly by text when we messaged her about it and she showed us and sorted it out. A Lovely, relaxing holiday. Note you are not allowed to play the piano that is shown.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Big lovely old house - lovely view with a lovely garden. Big spacious house with everything you need. About 20 mins from the beach but we were happy to have a big space with lovely pool and garden because of this.
