Parfait! The owner and his family, especially his daughter-in-law Nathalie who speaks some English, were exceptionally kind and welcoming, and they were a great help to us on numerous occasions during our long stay. Upon arrival, we found lovely welcome gifts, and the house was spotless and exactly as described. The property is fully fenced, which was ideal for our two dogs. The house is also located just a short walk from a small village with a bakery, post office, and two restaurants (note that their opening hours are very limited in winter). The house was well-equipped with provisions, furniture, heating, and air conditioning. We also saw many wild animals, including foxes, deer, and numerous birds, such as hawks, woodpeckers, ducks, and the largest pigeons I have ever seen. We were delighted with our stay and will definitely return on our next trip to the area.

A lovely house next to a wood at the edge of a small village with restaurants and bakery. A lovely shady balcony leading off the kitchen and lounge. Close to famous to tourist spots (and hospital should you need it!) but tranquil and relaxing. And very friendly, helpful owners.

For a family of 5 this cottage suited us perfectly. It's fantastically secluded with trees on one side and fields on the other. The only disturbance is the church bells and the local donkey. The terrace is ideal for hot days sitting in the shade or you can sunbathe on the lawn if you want. The facilities inside are all suited to requirements and air-con is great. Plenty to do nearby with canoeing, caves, beautiful villages etc. The local village has a nice boulangerie within 10 mins walk. We had a holiday we will never forget - and thanks Nathalie for our gift on arrival!

This is lovely house and a good location for most of the sights in the Dordogne and Lot very handy for a large group/family as it is on two levels with independant facilities .The owners are very friendly and Nathalie speaks a little english A lack of wifi in a poor reception area would be my only real concern..
