house / villa - Saint jean de la riviére

Lovely hosts , excellent location and property. We all had a great time.

The house corresponds to the description. It is comfortable and practical. It is wonderfully close to the beach. We had a very nice time there. Communication with the landlords worked very well.

Fantastic break with my family. The house was ideal with a spacious garden for the boys. 5 minute walk to the beach, which was ideal. Shopping all within a 10 minute drive.

Lovely house, nice position.

We enjoyed a wonderful two week stay at this spacious property which is a just a few minutes walk from a vast beach, which was perfect during this pandemic. The garden and decking area are great and we spent many evenings playing badminton and volleyball. We were fortunate that the weather was great-very hot-and made use of the bikes that are kept in the shed. The property is very well equipped and all of the bedrooms are very spacious. Just to note that we had to pay an extra 18 euros for electricity as only a certain amount of electricity is included in the price and any additional is chargeable. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would not hesitate to return-it would be nice to explore the area more during ‘safer’ times.

The house is very well equipped and ideally located for visiting the beach and the landing beaches. On the days we stayed at the villa, there was plenty of space for the kids to enjoy!

land lord is very nice and helpful. Vila has everything, from children toys till grown-up games. Kitchen is fully equipped with complete cutlery, glasses, dishes and many other equipment’s which can be found in a good kitchen. Vila is 2 min walking distance to the sea. Village is very calm. We drove to Mon-Saint Michele (1-1.5 h) and American cemetery in Ohama beach (1-1.5 h). Vila was very clean. In general my family and I were very pleased and I will consier going to the same place next time we go to Normandy.

This holiday home exceeded our expectations - the photos on the website don't do it justice! It was spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and tastefully decorated, with modern furnishings/appliances; very spacious and comfortable (lovely beds, leather sofa/armchairs, large dining table which easily seated all 9 of us, WiFi access and flat screen TV), and also had a fantastic enclosed garden at the back. It was an easy, flat 5 minute walk to the beach, and the village of St Jean de le Riviere was quiet and pleasant yet within easy access of shops/supermarket etc. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, both prior to the holiday when we were discussing arrangements by e-mail, and on the day of arrival when they took the time to show us how everything worked in the house. In summary, we would recommend this property very highly - having rented many houses in the UK and in France, this was by far the best.
