Lovely house to explore the area. Very quiet and rural, which is perfect to unwind. Large garden for the children to play football and cricket. Walk to the port is lovely, and my son did his morning run around the area safely.

The accommodation is perfect. Spacious, clean and well equipped. Situated in a very quiet area, but not far from amenities. Would suit anyone with mobility issues as everything you need is on the groundfloor. Lovely outdoor garden area and patio. Lovely walk down into the port along the footpath at the end of the road and in the other direction is a small cove/beach (2.5 miles). Port en Bessin has everything you need. Cant recommend enough. Home owner very welcoming and friendly.

Beautiful very pleasant. Basic supplies should be more complete I.e tissue paper, Kleenex, basic linens - a short history of the house.

Set in a quiet hamlet and not overlooked, the property has a large grassed garden with mature fruit trees which is ideal for children. The house and garden are very well maintained throughout, with good quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings. There is plenty of cutlery and crockery. The only slight negative is the kettle and toaster are too small for groups. A dishwasher is in the kitchen area with a washing machine in the laundry room. The beds are very comfortable with good mattresses. The photos on the internet do not do it justice. This is a place to relax with a glass or two of wine and enjoy the serenity of the property. A very good supermarket is just a couple of miles away and a campsite with a very good restaurant is about a mile away.

A very nice house in a quiet location with a privat garden. Everything we needed was at our disposal. Our dog loved the garden and we also spent a lot of time there. The beds were ok, but what hits you is the quietness during the night. We could sleep with open windows without any disturbence until the rooster got up at about 06:00. The landlord was very friendly, and always at our disposal. Everything essential is reachable in a few minutes by car. It is close to ocean and many of the sights in the region. 15 minutes by car to Bayeux and only 40 minutes to Caen.

We enjoyed a great week in this house which was plenty big enough for 6 of us. It's really well placed for all the D-Day sites. The house is very clean and has a lovely garden which our children really enjoyed!

We had a fantastic stay, helped by the amazing weather. While a car was essential this was expected and all we wanted to see and do was within easy reach. If we were to visit the area again we would look to stay in the property again. We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived and were able to leave promptly as arranged. A great holiday spot.

Once again we have enjoyed staying in this beautiful house . Perfectly located in a quiet environment - close to golf, beaches and several towns . The walled garden where our dogs could run around while we grilled our fish from the market , was the setting for a wonderful holiday . We will certainly return . Bettina & Per Nielsen - Danmark

The house far exceeded The house is peaceful and secluded and our children very much enjoyed the lovely walled garden. It is also very well situated, with many things to see and do in the surrounding area
